no kissing untill marriage

wow am i stuned. my girlfriend of 3 weeks just told me she wants her first kiss to be at the altar. i was like um yeah who the hell does that. have you guys ever heard of people doing this?i mean ive heard of abstinence but not even kissing?

i already broke that rule :P

ha yeah well theres mistake number 1. but id wait except im 15 so marriage is what like 10 years away. thats a long time without getting any. and besides, ive broken that already too

Well I guess you know what to talk about early on from now on.

Although, ironically the girls that take those pledges on average have sex at an earlier age, but also are more likely to get pregnant.

Yeah, my last relationship (which lasted about a year and a half) started off as a random hook up which then turned to "well we've been sleeping together for about 5 months, maybe we should start dating". The idea that you can have a girlfriend before doing ANYTHING is alien to me.

It's just a freakin' kiss, it's not like they are having sex. Why should he have to wait until marriage to even get a kiss from her? That is one of the most simple displays of affection. I can see if she said let's wait a month before we make out but c'mon... until MARRIAGE? And most likely they are never even going to marry each other.

My girl said "no sex before marriage" all you gotta do is take her to a nice dinner, or buy her something nice. she'll pretty much have to.
