I think it's a violation of Human rights to deprive someone of doing what they want with their body (which includes ingesting what they want). That's just ridiculous.

I should be able to enjoy some home-grown opium just the same as some good old fashioned cannabis. It's natural, right, dude?

[QUOTE="ZumaJones07"][QUOTE="Necrifer"]

I smoke pot.

I am a conservative.

Drugs don't have to be legal to be obtained.

worlock77

but the prices end up being ridiculous and you support drug lords with your drug money you pothead

You do realize that quite a lot of marijuana is grown locally by people within the community? Back in the day I always knew exactly where mine came from and it wasn't exactly Pablo Escobar.

All drugs should be decriminalized. At the minimum, the DEA should be abolished and the states allowed to adopt their own drug policies.

It would be a better answer than a trillion-dollar drug war.

It should be a choice adults are allowed to make, and taxpayers should not be forced to support (in the case of medical care for example).

[QUOTE="wii60_3"]Why does pot = hippy? Screw the hippies gangstas smoke dat kush not those pansies Nibroc420
Hippies > Gangstas. Hippies are chill Gangstas are violent coke heads.

I'm sort of both. Depends what you mean though, like gangsta ... gangster, or kid who grew up with hip-hop and rap influences all around his childhood ...gangsta. I'm leaning more towards hippy nowadays I guess these past couple years.

Ah, yes. I was just playing around a bit on the whole "pot is natural therefor it is safe!" sentiment that's so common. The illicitness of so many drugs cause more harm than the drugs themselves do in many cases.

The only soft drug that should arguably be legalized is marijuana, and I think the culture around it needs to change a bit before that happens.

toast_burner

I'd argue that all drugs should be legalised.

Indeed.

Hell, if anything, if one is for the legalization of cannabis/pot/marijuana, they should also have no problem with the legalization of certain varieties of cacti and fungi.

>spends billions jailing people for smoking pot and getting munchies. >refuses to make billions of tax revenue by taxing pot. >provides market for drug dealers. >complains when drug dealers succeed Obama, voted in because of reverse racism, not for intelligence.Nibroc420

Wow, you're like, the first person, like, EVER, to wake the fck up and realize what the government's doing. Like, Jesus Christ man, we didn't know corruption existed before you posted that.

Get the fck over it, if it were Mother Theresa at the head of the country, she would still have no choice but to comply with lobbies.

In my years, I've noticed that, in general, you can't really trust a person with '420' at the end of their username/handle to come up with a decent argument for anything, yet alone the very thing that prompted them to *420 their name. Debating skills tend to be lacking.

That's silly and untrue. It was Obama's decision to appoint Michele Leonhart as head ot the DEA, who is an anti-drug extremist. There are plenty of things President Obama has the power to do free from lobbies. The lobbies can't control the military, the lobbies can't appoint heads of agencies. This is Obama's choice and his alone. He set the direction of the DEA during his tenure by appointing Leonhart. Period.

Exactly. I'm heavily inebriated with alcohol. So, why is alcohol allowed, but not weed or acid? It's hypocrisy to the highest level and it pisses me off.

Sure he has the choice, he'll just lose 50% of his budget for the next financial campaign (lucky him, he won't be needing it any more if he wins the next elections). I never said that lobbies "control" anything, just like alcohol can't "control" you, it just makes you do retarded things.
