@SaintLeonidas: How am I ignorant? I listen to the other side and balance the facts and evidence and use logic to work out what really is going on instead of accepting everything on TV and Fox news as the truth. This is what is happening people if you deny that then you deny reality therefore you are not in reality but in some sort of corrupt matrix of enslavement.

@seahorse123: Do tell, in what way did Obama violate the constitution?

Also one good way to "stop the ignorance" would be stop defending Alex Jones.

Why do people feel the need to do this with their lives?

Yeah, America is kind of fucked up but there is more than enough in the country to lead a happy, healthy life. When I see someone like Alex Jones, I can't help but feel bad; overweight, balding, huge bags under his eyes. Spending years of his life yelling, screaming and crying into a microphone, building and stocking bomb shelters, and arming himself to the teeth over things that are either over exaggerated, or simply don't exist. People like him actually WANT some kind of apocalyptic scenario to happen, in order to justify his work. Sadly, it's most likely been all for nothing.

Live your lives the way you can, to the best of your abilities and take the world for what it is, instead of pining over the way you want it to be. You cannot waste the eternal journey of time, it can only waste you.

Alex loves his country his true country which is America following the constitution with the spirit of liberty but he has seen it turn into a hellish dystopia because of a few global elite that want to collapse America (yes it is wild but it explains everything). You said you can lead a happy and healthy life that is the easy way out I am afraid if you let evil grow stronger and stronger then it will be too late, and I know you think I am mad by saying evil and new world order but it really is that wild and it is the fact that it is that wild that people dismiss it as being made up. If we all took the easy way out then evil will triumph.

You're posting on the internet while the middle east burns. I'm eating dinner while the middle east burns. Terrible things are happening all over the world, all the time. We can't all bring our lives to a halt and refuse to do anything remotely enjoyable when something terrible is happening somewhere because something terrible is ALWAYS happening somewhere. Statistics show that just during the time it took me to make this post many people were murdered, many people died of cancer, and many people were sexually assaulted.

Everyone has to balance work and play. Obama can golf if he wants. Being president is a very stressful job, so it's important for him to find ways to relax, we wouldn't want the guy to have a mental break down.

Obama has actually done some stuff in the Middle East recently, he's authorized air-strikes against ISIS and air-supply to the trapped yazidis. From what I understand the U.S. is also supplying the Kurdish forces (Peshmerga) so that they can fight ISIS.

I'm sorry, but say what you will about Obama, god forbid he takes some time off (although, like wis3boi said, he still works) and be a HUMAN living life as much as he can.

He's only human. If any person worked everyday for an entire year, that person would likely go crazy.

People call crap when your source is a well-known lunatic who gets things wrong time and time again. Respond by accusing them of watching Fox News.

Way to help your credibility.

The US is only partially to blame for the problems in the Middle East. The ultra-violent Islamic extremists are largely to blame. If they never attacked the US, the US would never have invaded Afghanistan and started the progression of events that lead us to present.

Yes and NO.. The West basically cultivated this environment within the region which allowed islamists to rise up to take power.. The US armed the Taliban in Afghanistan and trained them, giving them all they needed to thoroughly take over the region for the decades after wards.. CIA and MI6 overthrew the democratically elected and secular president of Iran and installed a brutal dictator.. Who tortured and murdered his people and destroyed or banished the secular movements such as labor and intellectual groups.. Leaving the Islamists, who then gained control in 1979 of the country.. If you seriously think that the last 100 years of western policy has not had a adverse effect on the region, I recommend you crack open a history book.. Now this isn't suggesting that they are the only reason, merely pointing how complicated the situation is..

Pretty fitting title given that in a few weeks time he's going to the NATO summit, which is being held at a golf resort (the same place hosted the Ryder cup in 2010).

Going on vacation while you have soldiers in active combat really is in very poor taste.

I wonder why people volunteer to join the army?

I mean I think in elementary history class, I thought leaders fought along side their troops? Or am I imagining that from a movie or something?

He's gotta take a break sometime, and since there have been soldiers in the Middle East constantly for the past 10 years, I'd give him a break every once in awhile. If he did nothing but think about the war he'd go crazy.

G W Bush takes 879 days of vacation, average 110 days per year of time off in his two terms, whereas Obama averages 21.5 days per year. But let's complain because it's obama.

Just like his executive orders.

Also curious to see what FDR's bar would look like on this graph.
