so on the daily show just now they showed a clip from fox news, the anchor upset that obama hasn't been to church since he took office ( 11 weeks)... does anyone really care? seriously fox news tries to kick up dirt over everything.

The more he's out of church and focusing on his presidency, the better. Plus, I think deep inside Obama has a lot of doubt about Christianity and God. WhiteSnake5000
I'm sure not every President was crazy about church or religion in general.
Thing is, no one is going to vote an athiest into office. Gotta be christian.

and thats gotta change.. ... its this religious garbage and all the conservative people trying to slow down our progress that has us soo far behind europe in soo many differnet things.. the united states isn't even close to being at the forefront of technology or science anymore.[QUOTE="WhiteSnake5000"]The more he's out of church and focusing on his presidency, the better. Oh yeah for sure. That's why I think Obama isn't as religious as the media portrays him.[QUOTE="Optical_Order"][QUOTE="WhiteSnake5000"]The more he's out of church and focusing on his presidency, the better. I would say having a President with no religious beliefs would be ten times the accomplishment of having a black person or a woman for President.
I honestly couldn't care less if Obama didn't go to church for the rest of his life.chessmaster1989Me neither. As if it's any indication of being a good president :|
With all do respect you are doing the same thing. Seriously what are you attacking them over and in what context? I won't comment on what she said because I refuse to blindly attack fox news, which is better than the left gives them credit for. Much better than MSNBC thats for sure.so on the daily show just now they showed a clip from fox news, the anchor upset that obama hasn't been to church since he took office ( 11 weeks)... does anyone really care? seriously fox news tries to kick up dirt over everything.

Conservatives are in no way doing what you claim, how much do you really know about conservatism? What you just did is a massive generalization of a whole group of people, I am willing to bet alot of scientists ARE conservatives. Conservatism is no one thing and is not holding us back. Not all conservatives are religious either, I am rather conservative AND agnostic and support stem cell research. So you can see why i would be bothered by your statement.I just want to know if he goes to church before because he wanted more vote or some other reasons.magicalclickNo, he legit was a church goer early in his life. He was going before he ran for office.

its true.. european countries are leading in stem cell research and other fields of science , and then look at where the best cars are made... the best luxury cars come from germany, the best lower priced / high miles per gallon cars are from japan.. nimatoad2000Are you really trying to defend your position with... that? Cars and [unsupported] claims about stem cell research? Come on, you can do better than that.
Wasting his time in church is obviously much more important that focusing on the real world.

As I said before conservative is a broad term and one can be both conservative and socialist as socialist is more economic anyway.i havent been to church since i was 10 :o i win Dante2710I've never been to church in my life...insta-win.
That's because he's a secret Muslim, duh. Oh man, Fox News, you were right all along! Now we're all going to have to circumambulate the Kaaba or go to jail!
you can never be too busy to take 1 hour out of your day for God. Yeah he's president but he's also a human being, he has to take time out of his day for his relationship with his family and he should do the same with his relationship with Jesus Christ. SilenthpsIf Jesus is so concerned about my relationship with him, he can stop by my place and visit.
...Of course, if someone stops by my home claiming to be Jesus Christ, I'm probably going to call the police, so maybe not.
