In America, Iran or everywhere, always there are good guys and bad guys, no one can say all pepole of that country are good and all of this country are bad, i'm persian and i'm so sorry for what they say or done (our statesmans) but there is lot of pepole at least 60% of our pepole like me completely disagree with that,i don't know why they always hate america but i do know all of this make our (iranian) life harder. sorry for bad english.
[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"][QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]Rest of the world being the west.. Than yes, they seem to ignore the Eastern areas and Africa quite well.. Inless its to target a Western area.. Can you really blame them though of their anger? Do people realize that the entire state of the Middle East is directly a result for the most part of western powers like Russia, France, Great Britain and United States? And how long ago was that? Jesus, it would be like us hating Germany because of WW2!!!!!That region of the world continues to disappoint me.
I'd like to think we could just leave those people alone, let them do their own thing, but I genuinely dont think we can. They seem to be commited to making the rest of the world as miserable and backwards as they are.

exactly man.
Its time to move on.
As for the whole "murder/torture/etc" argument thats entirely bogus...do you know how many Iranians actually have had a member of their family hurt by a Western power? Less than .000000001% of their population...if that.
Iran is a country, more importantly, a stable self-sufficiant country with an economy, working class, and all that stuff. They got nothing to blame but themselves.
Iran is a college student failing their classes and blaming their parents for their current predicament. They say "Oh its all your fault, I should never have gone to college, I should have just stayed where I was, damn you for trying to make me a better person!". Iran is the post-teen that never went through the "hate your parents" phase and is rebelling as a young 20-something. They sat idle when they should have fought and, looking back, they feel wronged and now they decide to act.
Iran, and any other similiar nation, I say this to you: its time to embrace the present and, more importantly, the future. Get over yourself. Ya, you were wronged in the past (the past). Time to move on, though. There will always be softies feeling sorry for you and arguing on your behalf, and there will always be the occasional bad apple (your president) speaking for horrible, unjustified actions against others. But ultimately they dont do jack for you concerning the real world. If I may quote American History X: "has anything you've done made your life better?"
But will that get you anywhere? No. Time to get off your asses and take responsibility for yourselves. Move forward, make peace with the rest of the world, and enjoy your personaly beliefs personally.

Amen.
canada continues to look like a better option.
Tell me, how is the craft crewing up thre? I am a big fan of unibroue but I dont hear much out of canada concering brewiing except that
i wonder if obama thought this would change anything. no matter what we give them, we're still going to be the great satan in their eyes.shoeman12And we see them as our biggest threat at the moment. Nothing's going to change until either side does something drastic.

Can I logically call an entire country an a-hole? Is it logically possible?

Sure go for it. I feel like facepalming over an entire country. :|
Same, all of them should feel ashamed. It U.S fault that iran is how it is today, were it not for the kind of BSitting and toying the US did with iran, the situation would be very different (Iran being a normal country for one. No islamic republic crap.) Just watch documentaries like "Why do we gotoWar" and if yu researchthis stuffyull realise the number of times the U.S has backstabbed and betrayed iranor took their oil/something else. Its like expecting a heavilyabused child to grow into a normal person, its rare and fact is since america has done about 50 military "peace keeping" mission which actually compromised of helping the side that was going to sell off their natural resources cheaply to American govrnment or corporations. The chances are that very few countries after U.S "peace keeping" missions are going to be normal and usually end up having serious issues with the U.S.
"its time to move on" ye but most of the stuff that u.s did in the middle east hapened in the eighties, and most people from those times are Still alive. Anyway tell me for real, if somebody betrayed yu,sold offyour assets and then encouraged someone to kill you, but instead kills yur family while attempting to kil yu. Tell me FOR REAL WETHER YU WILL HOLD A GRUDGE. It is typical of american publicto make un-informed and ignorant decisions evn when they concern milions of lives. Then yu wonder why the rest of the world hates yu(including other western nations)...........
[QUOTE="Famiking"]How is it "dated"? If I was labelled the "Axis of Evil" by said country, I would not take it very lightly. Constantly harassed over nuclear weapons that it may or may not have, and even if it did, nearby countries that have it (Israel) get off the hook. US treats Iran like North Korea Jr., I'm not surprised by Iran's retaliation and they have every right to retaliate. Just like you Americans wish death to Iran, they wish death to the US.-RocBoys9489-I don't wish death to them, I just wish they'd get rid of that lunatic Ahmadinejad. Over 2/3 of Iran's population is under the age of 30, so hopefully the country will change for the good.
Ahmadinejad is just a figure head. The real leader of Iran is the Ayatollah Khamenei.
