Just give it up,
The race is over, and the democrats have won the white house.

mysterylobster
[QUOTE="mysterylobster"]I said earlier that I would have no reason to post here if that catastrophe happened.
Engrish_Major
So you really would not come here anymore? (don't want that to sound negative, just asking)
Yes, there's no other reason to post here.
can we pretend that its nov 5th then?
I can't imagine that you will try to make another thread, regarding the same thing, after being ridiculed from every direction of this forum. I haven't seen a mob attacking someone this bad since i last saw Frankenstein (The Old School Version)
[QUOTE="fbigent34"]Do you know what socialized health care is? Making sure people have health care at the taxpayers expense is exactly what socialized health care is. And for the record....the states should be responsible for making sure children have the health care and NOT the federal government. Pennsylvania already has a program in place...and I dare say we are not the only state to have done so. So then.....this would be an empty campaign promise for the most part.how is he socialized the health care? he wants to lower the cost and make sure childern hace it. dude you going to have to deal with spending more taxes now since this encomyic crap but applenty you cant back your're statments up.
I am so tired of people saying something thats it NOT TRUE :|

are you a billionaire corporation? no you're a cure fan on a videogame message board
making health care more accesible will hit big coporations and the incredibly wealthy but they'll make things easier for middle class and low class people who are forced to rely on greedy insurance companies to provide them with basic healthcare
the irony of it is that you'd benefit greatly from these plans if one of your relatives was to fall ill, if only you were smart enough to realsie it
It's pretty presumptuous to assume that those same billion dollar corporations aren't going to try and make up that money lost in taxes, whether it be increasing prices in services and products, layoffs, increased outsourcing, or hell, actually packing up and leaving.
Where the hell is the money for this socialized medicine going to come from when all the capital that businesses and the upper class possesses is chased away. It's damn well gauranteed regardless that the lower and middle class will be taxed more just to keep up with the planned spending, only a fool would believe otherwise, but then again it's quite apparrent that this country is loaded with fools, otherwise we wouldn't even have McCain and Obama as the presidential candidates. Obama is a politician first and foremost, he will say anything and everything that would get you to vote for him.

[QUOTE="zeorshadow19"]the housing market was boomingDalo12345
Because the government was basically forcing banks to give out crappy loans, and now the **** is hitting the fan on that one. Thank you Clinton and the Democrats!
the gov't never forced banks to create and sell securities based on mortgage debt. securities which they could not accurately evaluate the risk of. the government had no involvement in the cds market either...
