[QUOTE="Witchsight"]I dislike movies enough that thinking of 5 i like is going to take a while... II_Seraphim_IIdislike movies? is that even possible? :o Witchsight must be a bot...only possible explanation :x :P Im a very convincing cyborg! I dunno, i find it hard to sit and watch something for 2 hrs... i get very restless, and usually dont relate to anyone that i am watching, or have any comprehensive understanding of the story. All that combined makes me want to do something else!
You Put these movies into my Brain!
Have you seen them? They are all spectacular and I would just like to add another one I just saw. It's based on a book by the same author of "Tipping The Velvet" , Sarah Waters. It's called Fingersmith. This woman is a genius. I've only ever read Tipping the Velvet a long time ago and I loved every second of it, but after watching Fingersmith, I now know it's not a fluke. I'm gonna buy the book and all her other works. Out of the list though, I would say "F------ Amal" is the best one. Everything feels so natural in the movie. The characters are absolutely believable and they all act like real teenagers. You can believe they are 14-16 years old. And besides, I really like the end of the movie for it's symoblism and just plain funniness and awesomeness :P
- "[F-word-ing] Amal" (aka "Show Me Love" in the US and Europe) -- Swedish Teen Romance Movie
- "Far From Heaven" - Jullian Moore, Dennis Quaid and Denis Haysbert in an interracial rommance that take place in the 1950s.
- "Flirting" - This movie has a young Nicole Kidman, but the true stars are Thandie Newton and Noah Taylor. Another interracial rommance set in Australia.
- "The Nightmare Before Christmas" - Jack Skellington wants to bring Christmas to Halloween town! A childhood favorite!
- "Tipping The Velvet" - Lesbian trying to live and love in Victorian England.

I'd like to give a shout out to SeraphimGoddess for recommending "Chocolate". I'm watching it right now, and it kicks some major ass!
Grandotaku Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl better be up to snuff because I found a guy who has it and I'm picking it up tomorrow :P

[QUOTE="scottiescott238"]In no order 1. The Pianist - best war iv ever seen. 2. Terminator 2- best action film iv ever seen. 3. Shawshank redemption - best film iv ever seen. 4. Eternal sunshine of the spotless minds, - best urrm romance film iv seen. 5.Se7en - the best thriller iv seen.II_Seraphim_IIMan, I loved ESotSM. That movie was pure genius and Winslet/Carrey were terrific. Careys best films are his serious roles. For a long time i was confused, but by the end it all makes sense.

It really annoys me how he doesnt do more of them. It's like Eddie Murphy. Everyone knows he is funny and has talent, yet he keeps making idiotic comedies. Some people just waste their talent. As for Jim Carrey, I also love "The Truman Show". That movie is spectacular. The script, the directing, the acting...that movie is golden.
- No One Knows About Persian Cats
- The Hurt Locker
- District 9
- Avatar
The word "diabetes" (but that's not a movie. wth, mind?)
- Godzilla
The Hurt Locker, District 9 and Godzilla are all movies I really liked, Avatar I haven't seen, and "No One Knows About Persian Cats" isn't actually out yet; I only watched a trailer of it so far.
Edit: I think I did it right? These are just 5 movie names that popped into my head when I read the first post. :P
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
City of God
Pan's Labyrinth
Pulp Fiction
Kung Fu Hustle
Shaolin Soccer
5 Centimeters Per Second
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Digimon: The Movie
Chojuto
Kung Fu Hustle.. What a great movie.. Its like a live action looney toons spectacle.
