Off Topic's favorite superhero

Since there's so many superheroes, I'm going to ask everyone to nominate their favorite superhero (or whichever superhero you want to nominate, even if it isn't your favorite). You can only nominate one hero (or one villain if you prefer). The five that are nominated twice first will be added into a poll where everyone can vote. Here's a list of all the superheroes. I'll go with Jean Gray, only because I think that the Dark Phoenix storyline is easily one of the best I've ever read in a comic.

Shame that the movie majorly f'd it up.

I liked that storyline, but I didn't like how the movie executed it.

Anyway, I've extended the deadline until two more heroes receive a second nomination. Right now, there's Spawn, Spider-Man, and Batman.
