That was a really good read man! Submit that **** to NPR or something!

No I don't think you're evil. Everyone has anger in them, you just tapped into yours big time. The fact that you can control it is good. When you can't/dont wont to control it is when you'll become "evil" or "barbaric"

Thank you. But what is NPR.

Evil is such a strong word that I'm hesitant to pass judgement on you here one way or the other. All I can say is that...it sounds like you need help. While I don't find the urge for violence to be something to condemn, when those desires manifest themselves as actions it can become a real problem. So unless you feel like you can really keep this under control, I would strongly encourage you to try and preempt committing any sort of violent crime by getting the necessary help. I don't want you to hurt anyone, both for their sake and for your own.

I've been to therapy before. It didn't help. Just look at it his way. When you were a little kid, what did your parents do to get you to do what they wanted? Spank you, yell at you, talk to you, put you in the corner? Well what he did to get me to do what he wanted was to beat my mind into submission to his will. And when something is beat into you, you just can't let that go.

My cousin was like that, the tough guy attitude and all. So i told him one day to stop acting like a tough guy, he grabbed me by the chest so i kick him in the crotch and slam his head to the wall a couple of times. And he was alot bigger than me. He became a nicer guy, maybe that's what you need, if that attitude was beat in you, maybe it should be beat out of you :P.

Evil? No. That fight is what drives people to be better athletes. It's the lack of that fight that keeps a high school player out of college level ball. However, you do have to learn to contain that and use it as motivation on the field. People that are physically trained have a responsibility of decency, because physical specialists are more capable of throwing their abilities around and seriously hurting people.

So, if it's an issue of anger, get that resolved, because no one will want to work with a player on the next level that has issues, no matter what the talent level is. Coaches hate players that will hurt them.

Coaches hate players that will lose them games. Uncontrollable players lose games. They demoralize their own team, the give up pointless yards on penalties due to anger/lack of focus. It's just not something coaches will spend the time on.

And I'm not blaming you for having violent thoughts and feelings. Based on what you've posted, it sounds like this might be a very natural reaction to what you've been through. At the same time, we all have free will. We don't have to be slaves to our emotions. We don't have to choose our actions based on our desires. The way you think and feel - that is not a choice. But the way you act on those feelings - that is a choice. And from what you've posted here, it sounds like the choices you've been making have not been healthy ones, either for yourself or for the people around you. If you think that there's a chance that in the future you may end up hurting an innocent person then you should address that now and try to make sure that doesn't happen.

I would say that I've made relatively healthy choices having the hand that I've been delt. I could of killed that guy that I fought. But i held back. Like I said before, I can control my urges. And I only hurt people if they mess with me. I'm not a bully.

I'm not uncontrollable. I remember one time me and this guy were messing around. I grabbed him, and i was about to slam him. Coach Louis walked next to me and said: "Let him go John Jackson." I reluctantly complied. I'm controllable to an extent.

Well, that's good. I would just say...keep an eye on yourself. If you ever get to the point where you think you're might lose control and do something that's unethical or could get you in a lot of trouble, talk to someone.

I don't think it's really something to be concerned about, you're just being extremely honest about yourself. And I bet if other people did the same, they might be disturbed about what they admit. You might need to talk to someone like a professional or loved one, but I don't think you are evil. If you start hurting people solely for the purpose of satisfaction then we're getting closer. edit: I mean if you hurt people outside of sports.

It's not only about satisfaction. Like when I hurt someone it feels like it's something that I'm suppose to do. Sometimes I feel like Coach Smith, and Coach Louis are still looming over me commanding me to attack when the time arises.

Yeah I would try to distance yourself from those guys. Having their mentality does nothing good for you. If you're struggling over their philosophies then obviously you know something's wrong with them. Separate yourself from them as much as you can and surround yourself with people who have a healthier state of mind.

You read me like a newspaper you did...I think you over-embellished the stories a bit to get more of a reaction. Here's one example: He knew that if I could come back, than I would be a star. Atleast the best Nose Tackle in the county. You wrote that, but I ask you this. Did your coach express this to you or did you just make up his thoughts into your post in an attempt to make us believe that you are just that great at football? There were other parts of your post that seemed pretentious. Maybe you're a psychotic person who needs to hurt others or maybe you're just really full of yourself.

Bad things happen in life, and I'm well aware that such things exist. I just don't believe you is all. :|

You're not evil, however i do think you could benefit from counseling, and your football coach shouldn't be in his job. If you have violent urges to the point where you feel scared to drink lest you get drunk and actually murder another person you definitely need to talk things through with someone and get some help.

normally Im too lazy to read something so long, but that was amazing. I do admit what you did to that guy while doing that machine gunning drill was a bit out of hand even if he did accidentally cut you and finding blood beautiful is just creepy, but still I wouldnt call you a psychopath.

I can understand the reason as to why you don't believe me. But all I'm doing is telling a story the way that it happened. And it just seems like because you have probably never heard of something like this you think I'm flat out fabricating it. And I don't need to Burt people. As I said before, I can control myself.

I've been to counseling before. And it didn't help. The focus of it was too control myself. Something that I can already do. Both of my football coaches were pretty damn good at their job. There are people who have been in wars which is ten times worse than what I went through. But, everyone takes traumatic happenings differently. I can't blame them for what they did to me. It was there job. I just had a really bad reaction to it.

normally Im too lazy to read something so long, but that was amazing. I do admit what you did to that guy while doing that machine gunning drill was a bit out of hand even if he did accidentally cut you and finding blood beautiful is just creepy, but still I wouldnt call you a psychopath.

[QUOTE="-Big_Red-"] I'm not. And that just seems like a bad excuse to not answer my question. Are you one of those people that think that bad things never happen? Or just pretend like it doesn't exist? -Big_Red-

I can understand the reason as to why you don't believe me. But all I'm doing is telling a story the way that it happened. And it just seems like because you have probably never heard of something like this you think I'm flat out fabricating it. And I don't need to Burt people. As I said before, I can control myself.

I do not think that you are fabricating your story entirely. I just think that you are embellishing certain areas to make it seem more interesting to the rest of us. I have seen things far worse than what you are describing, let me assure you, but I am just calling it like I see it. You didn't say anything about my point on what your coach said.

[QUOTE="-Big_Red-"][QUOTE="Solid_Snake325"]I don't think it's really something to be concerned about, you're just being extremely honest about yourself. And I bet if other people did the same, they might be disturbed about what they admit. You might need to talk to someone like a professional or loved one, but I don't think you are evil. If you start hurting people solely for the purpose of satisfaction then we're getting closer. edit: I mean if you hurt people outside of sports.Solid_Snake325

I know that the way I think now is far out of the norm, and not "good". But i I like the way I am. And I don't have any contact with them. I graduated that year, and Coach Smith retired. Nobody who I'm around has the state of mind that I do. I tuck these feelings away inside of me, so they only appear when I get a chance to use them.

When I tell a story. Especially when I'm not actually in your presence. I try to use as many details as I can. For instance. He did know that i would of been a star, and he did wish that I had atleast one more year left. There hasn't been a defensive football player at that school who was like me for a couple of years. And all of them were stars. The best in the county at there position. All I'm doing is saying that i would of been the same.

I picked option 3 btw...you're a normal person who just happens to have violent feelings. You know that many people often black out so to speak when they are either attacking someone or being attacked. It's more likely that your adrenaline is taking over, and your body acts out due to the chemicals being released through your body. Then after such a thing takes place you may have enjoyed the adrenaline rushing through your body, and that is now what you crave. It may also be a dominance thing that you're favoring. Regardless, it was an interesting story...So without further adieu...Cool Story Bro! ;)

I don't believe you at all for the simple fact that you said you were a senior on the JV team. You cannot be a senior and be on Junior Varsity. You can only be a junior and below. If you are a senior, the ONLY team that you can be on is varsity.

Your story = fail.

Haha, thank you. I believe that that is atleast part of it. I do like that feeling that I get. And when you say dominance thing, I hope you're not hinting anything sexual :P. I don't get a boner from hitting people :P.

Yeah, i remember that. The reason I liked the blood is because It was proof as to how badly i hurt him. I do think BJ Penn, and other MMA fighters like that too, but Penns main reason was probably just to gloat.

MY EYES!

From your story, I don't think your evil, but you definately have some anger issues. Most guys can be pretty violent and enjoy some physical violence, but it seems like you completely lose control, which is dangerous. Take it from a guy with anger issue, don't let this get out of hand. I almost killed someone once because I had lost control. Figure out your limits and when you feel like you are approaching them, back off and go get some Jello or something.

As for you being a psychopath, I can't answer that. It really depends on if you feel anything. The violence is an anger issue, but if you feel no regret (or nothing at all) for hurting others afterwards, then you may be a psychopath.

Don't you think that that's kind of a bad reason to not believe me. Maybe at your high schoolmseniors weren't allowed on JV, but at my high school they were. It was rare, but it did happen.

I don't feel anything when I hurt people. One reason is that I only attack someone if provoked, i recognize that someone doesn't deserve to have me beat them if they didn't do anything. But concerning that one kid who I did that too during football practice, I guess I had to turn him into a martyr that day. They were going to know what they had turned me into, and he just so happened to be the guy who lined up on me that day.. But I don't feel bad about it.
