I'd say it's something our culture should bury and forget about.

The rise of "Grunge" and the more modern forms of the alternative genre, and the popularization of rap.

50s- the stereotypical American Family, you just tell when something is form the 50s

60's-hippies, marijuana, own style of music, different fashion style etc.

70's- disco, more distinct music, Star Wars, afros,different fashion style etc.

80s-chessy music, mullets, parachute pants, tie-die colors, another diff. fashion style etc.

Different forms of Rock and Roll prominent through 60s-80s.

I was referring more to his error about gadgets. Electronics have been around much longer.

the internet, britney spears backstreet boys and all the other pop bands/music, all the awesome nickelodeon shows like are you afraid of the dark etc, power rangers, pokemon cards and pogs!

90's is different from everything else. You can't compare the 90's with anything else, therefor, it's different. Also, the difference about the 90's and 00's is the fear of terrorism.
