Be her friend, or be her BEST friend. The moment you date her, you're crossing that line. If you guys were to ever break up, you may lose her forever. Not to say that you guys will never be friends again, but some people never talk to each other again after a breakup.

If I were you, I'd be her friend. I wouldnt force anything on her or make her feel uncomfortable. Not only will you look desperate but it'll be kinda creepy as well. GOsh man, for everytime that I had a crush on a girl and pursued, I wish I didnt. I wish I was her friend instead. Good friends are hard to come by but girlfriends are all over the place. Sometimes, you have to decide what's best for the both of you. Date each other, become bf and gf and risk this friendship, or stay as friends? I would pick friendship. Friends forever, girlfriend never.

Second scenario: She may be confused. Give her time. You dont want her to rush through any decisons anyways. They never come out pretty. She already knows how you feel about her. Give her some space, like you have been doing. BUT, dont make her feel like you're ignoring her or you left her behind. Just keep doing what you were doing before. Be her friend. You'd be surprised how many strong relationships have evolved from friendships. Those, I think, last the longest. If that's what you're after that is.

There is a chance, eventually as more and more relationships go down the toilet she might realise how reliable you are as a companion and decide that she does want to be with you, you can hope anyway.

I'm having to just blindly hope a girls feelings change as well, but I had a horrible and depressing dream where she told me she was a lesbian, then I realised she has never been in a relationship with anyone so it could be true :? but I think it is just that she isn't ready for a relationship atm. The thought that she could be a lesbian really scares me though :( because it means nothing would ever be able to happen between us.
