Okay I'm stupid, need help

Uggghh Today was the last day of school. Because I'm dumb I decided to wait until today to ask this girl out. I was all pumped up and ready to do it and then I realized she left. She's going to be gone until August! She lives 30 miles away, so I'm not going to walk down the street and see her. We're not like best friends, but I've been wanting to ask her out for like 5 months. I'm pretty sure she likes me, sometimes i would see her looking at me, in Phy Ed when we played hockey she would always stay like 5 feet from me the entire time even if the teacher was yelling at her. I sat right behind her ni one of my classes and she constantly turned around.

I'm 16 and never had a girlfriend before, i need this, should I like call her or what? I looked and she ddoesn't have a myspace. I never spoke a word to her on a phone before, help. I can not second guess myself like I did with so many other people. i refuse to give up this chance

Yeah, I guess I should. She nevert gave me her phone number (I own a phone book tho, lol) and I thought it was like wrong to call someone if they didn't give you a phone number.

I'm sort of shy, though, and I think maybe it would be weird if she answered the phone and it's me. I ahve talked to her before, but it was just stuff like "Hi." "Wanna sign my yearbook?" "What date is today." etc. In my yearbook she said wow, you're such a great guy, I don't know if that means anything because all girls write stuff like that.

Anyways, I'm sure you know a friend that knows a friend that can get her number if you try. Just don't get scared, she's just a girl.

I don't suggest calling her, if she never even gave you her phone number. It would make you look very creepy.

Just ask her out in August, there's really nothing else you can do.

Just go for it. You're gonna regret it if you don't try :) And I don't think it's weird if you ring someone you found in the phonebook, if it's to ask her out that's fine. Just ask how she is etc and pop the question after a few mins chatting. Good luck :)

It won't be creepy if you handle it correctly. Tell who you are (I'm sure she knows you and you've talked) and tell her you were planning on going out with some friends and you would like her to join you.

There is more than one way to skin a cat, be creative but don't sound desperate.

Just be honest. Let her know that you realize she might think it is creepy that you looked her up. Then tell her the truth, that you like her and meant to talk to her but she took off before you could.

Then ask her out. But don't do it the traditonal way. In the event she is a little apprehensive or freaked out just put it to her easy, like this.

"Hey, um....listen, I am going to be at ____ at such and such time at such on such and such day. If you would like to meet me there then great! And if not, well that's okay too."

Works for me EVERY time. Shows that you aren't stalking creepy because you are okay if she doesn't join you. Also let's them know that you are giving her the decision without turning you down. She can say 'thanks' and not show up if she doesn't want to without offending you.
