I don't agree with her policies, but I don't think she's stupid. That's just political propaganda by some to make her look dumb. It's also motivated by some elements of bigotry as many people don't feel women are smart or belong in politics.sonicare
I think it has more to do with the fact that she's stupid. :P

look at the videos. look at the statements. nobody is forcing her to give any of these stupid answers.

I've seen dumb clips of her. But then I've seen many politicians make flubs or say stupid things. Look at Bush. Pretty much everything he says sounds bad. Hillary's made plenty of ridiculous statements including her one about dodging "sniper fire" during her trip to Bosnia. Biden was a huge plagiarizer during the 80's - trying to take credit for speeches given by some of our past historical figures. Reagan mumbled about jelly beans and other such nonsense.
If you take many of these out of contexts, or present them in such a way, it's possible to make many people look stupid. Plus, not everyone is a gifted speaker. Being articulate doesn't mean you're smart, just good with words.
I think she's actually stealing Obama's thunder...hamstergeddon
I think she's more of a passing fad. As they say, vice president candidates generally don't have a major impact in the presidential election.
I think she's actually stealing Obama's thunder...hamstergeddonnot anymore. have you seen her poll numbers?
lol. her buzz didn't last 3 good weeks. now she's a liability. every time she opens her mouth, she's messing up.
u guys aware all she has is a BS in JOURNALISM from U of Idaho or something?
good lord.
couple with McCain graduating 2nd or 3rd to LAST in his class of a few hundred?

That's true, everyone sounds stupid when you take statements out of context. But Palin sounds even dumber when you watch the entire interview. Also, the problem isn't her lack of speaking ability, if she mispronounced words it would be no big deal. But she demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of the questions she was asked. The way that she's managed to do this multiple times in the short span of her interviewing career definitely says something about her knowledge of politics.
No...she's just a disaster area. Joe Biden doesn't need to destroy her. 9th grade questions seem to be doing that job just fine.

lol
I laugh when Obama supporters say Palin doesnt have enough experience for VP, but then you remind them that Obama has no experience and he's running for President, they deny it.kool-aids
Obama at least has a real opinion on foriegn policy.. No one is saying he is super experienced, no one really is when it comes to being the president. The point being is Obama is well spoken and at least knew things like what the Bush Doctrine was, and had a real opinion on foriegn policy on what he can do.
seems like. as one Conservative columnist wrote today:Is it just me, or does it seem like Palin thinks Russia are still communists and will invade the US at any given time?
Treflis
"If BS were currency, Palin could bail out Wall Street herself"
lol. fair. but the battle isn't for the hard-core republicans. it's about the independents. hopefully, they won't vote for idiots this time.Dreams-Visions
Oh I don't know about that. Turnout is always a concern. The GOP can't ignore the record turnouts for the Democratic primaries and mediocre turnout for their own primaries.
lol no problem.
So...did she quit yet?
she's been missing for some time
if anyone sees her, let us know.
Why did he pick that crazy women anyways?Montayato try to win votes.
it was his hail mary pass. the ball looked good when it left his hands...but it's hit a lot of turbelence in flight. looking like it's going to be an incompletion.
meanwhile,
CNN Anchor tells us how he really feels about Sarah Palin.
What a terrible choice...foxhound_fox
That's an EXTREMELY misleading video by the way. I only watched it part way because I was afraid I might catch stupid from it.
She's not a creationist and never said she was. The person who made that video deliberately edited the first part of the quote "that our leaders, our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God'. She started with the words "PRAY that", or in other words, she's communicating that she is doubtful and uncertain that what they are doing is God's plan, contrary to Bush's claims that it is.
Extremely misleading video.

Yup, Liberal "journalist" is Liberal. Obama supporter supports Obama. Sour grapes taste sour. Etc.

Not really. He goes on to draw a direct comparison between Palin's speaking abilities and that of one of the most recent Miss America contestants and does a pretty good job at pointing out how terrible of a public speaker Palin is. It's not so much about her and creationism as it is a rant about her stupidity. Where is Ron Paul when everyone needs him??foxhound_fox
It asserts in the very title and in the very beginning that she's a Creationist. That is false.
It DELIBERATELY parses and edits what she said to make it sound like she's saying she believes that Bush is on a task from God when it reality she was questioning it. This is a deliberate lie. He's editing the video to make you think she's saying something else entirely.
If that's not your definition of misleading, I wonder what falls under it.

If you were to watch the whole video you might come to understand what I am saying.foxhound_fox
I know what you're saying. But just because it attempts to make a point about her public speaking abilities does not mean it isn't misleading.
If I say, "Apples grow on the moon. Babies come from storks. Santa Claus breaks and enters your house at Christmas while the kiddies are asleep to steal your snack food and rifle through your undergarments. Oh, and Sarah Palin doesn't speak well in public," just because you agree with my last sentence doesn't mean my statement wasn't misleading and didn't contain falsehoods.
I love Sarah Palin apologists.
She's as clueless as clueless can get when it comes to foreign and domestic policy on the NATIONAL LEVEL, yet they'll defend her like she's great.
amazing. the sheer desperation of it all.

I love how you skip defending the video in favor of attacking the comments at the end.Tell us...did you think she handled that question like someone who wants to be Vice President of the United States of America?
Better yet, can you tell us what she said?

Defending the video? I know, from your previous post, that you do like the notion that people try to defend Palin, so I understand how it must irk you when they don't make your statement come true, but I respond merely to what Mr. Sour Grapes said. And really, he said very little. And what he did say was laughably biased.
I haven't listened to this guy since he started ranting about Hillary Clinton's lack of femininity in his eyes - truly the most important issue in this election!
