I see that everywhere. Now I'm pretty sure most of you won't answer my question. You'll just reply saying "tl;dr". Whatever the heck that means. But can anyone seriously answer my question? What is a TLDR? I'm new to all these fancy terms on Gamespot. What is that? I see it whenever someone posts a long message or something. I don't know if I'm right but does it mean Too Long, Did not Read? that was the only thing i could come up with that actually made sense...seeing as people say "TLDR" only when there are long messages. But idk. Whenever i see that "TLDR", the thread usually gets locked. So does it have to do with a troll topic or what? Anyways, someone answer my question please. I want to know what it means.TDWPxZombies
But seriously, it means "too long, didn't read".
I'll be nice.
There's two ways "too lazy, didn't read" is used. If you post a long block of text, someone might be a smartass and (rightfully) write "tl;dr" to indicate that they didn't give a crap what you wrote.
The second is if someone writes a lengthy post but they're considerate enough to realize most people aren't going to bother reading the whole thing, they may summarize it with "tl;dr: This is the main idea of my post" at the end of their writing.
