I've destroyed the sanctity of marriage twice.

People need to evolve.

Yeah, still more progress can be made, but I have to say, humanity has definitely come a long away since the first settlement in America over 400 years ago. At least there's not really any silly witch burnings anymore. I think that's at least 99.5%/100% gone.

@Toph_Girl250: Do not get me wrong. Humanity has made progress from our less civilized past and I acknowledge that. All I am saying is that we ought to continue that progress.

I can't take social conservatives seriously when they talk about marriage being sacred.

Social conservatives have been shown to have statistically less happy marriages and get divorced more often than their liberal counterparts.

I might listen if they practice what they preach, but let's be honest, that will never be true of social cons.
