On a scale of 1-10, How bad do you hate school?

Im in high school 9th grade and i hate it......I have friends, but its just sooo grueling, and all of my friends are "b.s. friends" meaning they dont care about you and you are only hanging out with them because youre real friends go to a different school.

I probably hate it on a scale of "9"

which is wierd because if you asked me this question in 8th grade i would reply with a "1"

Really because there was a gay kid in our school who would get the finger everyday and get pushed and cussed out, but im glad people are more civil and reasonable at your school. My school isn't the best ;)

If I were to rank it my K-12 schools...

Elementary School = 3/10 Too be honest, I can't remember much but my 4th grade teacher was the most easy-going guy I know and I had great friends by my side. I really regretted moving after 5th grade.

Middle School = 8/10 I moved, barely knew anyone, became somewhat popular but messed it all up, and made only a few buddies until the 8th grade. Also, ALL my teachers were awful and so darn strict.

High School = 4/10 or 5/10 I'm currently in high school but so far, my school is great but after my freshmen year, I barely knew anyone in any of my classes and some of my teachers were incompetant. The only class I really liked being in was my English class during my sophomore year where I happen to know a lot of people and my teacher was challenging but in a good way.

Right now: 7-8
Overall: 4-5

I'm a senior in high school. Overall I like school enough, but right now school really sucks for a lot of reasons.

I've pretty much hated school since third grade. Yeah you make friends blah, blah, college freedoms, blah, blah, but to me sleep>all. That, and I always feel like shooting something after labs. :x

I absolutely hated high school, but I love college. When I was in high school, particularly with all the stress of senior year, I couldn't imagine that I would be able to like school, but college certainly changed that.GTALoco

1, because I am in college, I have easy classes and I can't look somewhere without seeing beautiful women :)

same case as you tc. i find it boring as hell, time consuming, and stressful. i have friends, but theyre more like acquaintances, people i talk to in classes or lucnch just so its not so boring. i rate it 9, only because its not as bad as freshman year when i got picked on in gym class. :(

actually i change that to a 7. after reading the poster above me, i realized that the only class i really hate is math. im actually good at math, but its just the most boring of all. and its the only class where i dont have any "friends" because everyone is a few years older than me. history i like because my teacher only teaches whats required and uses the rest of the time to discuss interesting stuff like the economy and corruption in the government. computer science i also like because its always relaxing in there (i like compters, and my teacher always leaves the lights off). german i like as well because the teacher lets us do whatever we want as long as were still learning the language. its just math i hate. :x
