My singing breaks glass surfaces and makes plants wilt.

I am pretty good at singing and growling but I can't really scream.

Do death growls count as singing? because i can do that.

Everyone tells me I'm amazing, so I'll say an 8/10.

I would give myself a 2 or 3, considering 1 as something that is actually painful to listen to, and 4 or 5 as average.

6/10 I remember failing horribly at sight singing in music theory classes when I started but I got better out of necessity. It's amazing how easy it was to transform my voice from an abomination on the ears to being able to match pitches and sing in tune with a piano or guitar. I can sing a select variety of popular music now, and try writing my own stuff but I need my guitar to help me out.

I'd give myself a 7 probably. I have pretty decent range, and I used to sing in our high school chorus group, which required an audition, so I must've been alright.

My range is reasonable for a 17 year old... Low A to Middle F without falsetto/headvoice.

My pitch is reasonably good, my sightsinging and aural skills are okay...

I would vote myself 6.5 out of 10.

Can you sing with power and emotion as well?

Power and emotion are the most important things when singing, absolutely. My mother told me that when I was 11 and I carry it with me to every performance. I was stubborn teenager and thought I didnt need any musicianship to go with the emotion, but I was wrong. I really got to work on technical things as well, and I have combined the true emotion+technical skills.

Agreed. Great emotion can make up for some of the weight of lesser technical skills, well, sometimes, you know what I'm getting at.

Honestly, pretty good. I mean, I feel kind of weird listening to myself back, but I do when I talk, but I can sing to a reasonable degree. Sure, I'm not technically proficient, but what comes out sounds quite good.

Yeah, totally. I mean, you can be a technical monster- but if you can't get an emotion across to an audience then you arent a good singer, your just a pitch machine.
