One-Punch kill.

Again, I hate to be the guy who posts news stories but this is pretty crazy. After a racial comment was used, the reciever of the comment punched the man and killed him. Literally one punch kill. Crazy.

Wow, he is one lucky SOB, that black guy. Well lucky that he got a one shot kill. Not so lucky that he'll likely not be seeing outside a prison for a while. Doubt he meant to do it, what with one punch. Who knows with these sensative types though.

This is a great example of moral luck. A lot of people lose their temper and punch someone (I mean I never do, but it seems to be common); this man's punch just happened to be fatal.Meinhard1

This is a VERY RARE case where I actually have sympathy for the murderer and do not feel he should be charged to the normal extent I usually see fit for a murderer (death).

Even if the punch wasn't accidental, this is very much an accidental death. In no way could someone seriously expect to kill a man with a single punch.

I say this is very unfortunate to everyone involved. Someone died and the murderer now is looking at serious jail time for losing his cool a little bit when dealing with a racist jerk.

I think we all have times we want to and maybe even follow through with punching someone.

I am curious to see how this guy gets sentenced.

I visited a jail once for my law and ethics class, and there was a guy there who got ten counts of assault during a shootout. His weapon? His fists.

I think that's even better.
