The Divide - Great character acting with a sub-par plot and set but creepy enough to be fun.
Ice Pirates - It's like Kids in the Hall in Space without all the homoerotica.
The Avengers - Fun, funny and action-packed to the gills.

[QUOTE="metroidprime55"] Did you know it's based of the Brother's Grimm version?:P

Are we both talking about this version?

Sleeping Beauty- w.t.f.

I loved it. Found it an incredible viseral experience which challanged you to think and refused to dumb itself down for a mainstream audience...
Anywho:
Cabin In The Woods - Intelligent filmmaking at it's finest
Blue Velvet - Lynch is a cinematic god
The Avengers - Dumb, but a lot of fun.

Consider me the dumb mainstream audience because I don't think shocking and "artsy" automatically qualifies something as good. The characters were unrelatable because they had little in terms of personality and nothing was ever explained. Just bits of information and activity with no depth.
That said, I got a nice kick out of the part where the girl was dropped off the bed.
The Dictator- Tried too hard to be funny and offensive, Borat is way funnier.
klusps
Sums up my review for that also
Dark Shadows- Didn't hate it like I did with Alice in Wonderland but still a huge mess
Enchanted- A delightful movie and I have no shame in saying I wouldn't mind getting into a three way with Amy Adams and James Marsden
Underworld: Awakening - Total garbage. I enjoyed the first two, but I really hope this ends up being the last one.
Wild At Heart - This film here represents a symbol of my individuality, and my belief in personal freedom.
Ondine - Overlong and utterly predictable, but it was pleasant enough. Colin Farrell gave a good performance.
The Avengers: One hell of a good ride.
In Time: This movie had decent acting, tense action, and plenty of plotholes.
The Rescuers Down Under: This movie will make you feel like you can fly, and it's much better than the original.
[QUOTE="Inconsistancy"]The Fifth Element - Fun, enjoyable, over the top. Inception - Overhyped trash, unwatchable. Robin Hood: The Prince of Thieves - Robin Hood: Men in Tights was a parody of 'this'! Serraph105why did you dislike Inception?
Well, one thing, I gotta hand it to Leonardo DiCaprio... how he kept a strait face during that stupid 'epic' speech moment was just -- astonishing.
It's just too much cheese for me.. all the explanations of what's going on, the vetting of that girl(draw a maze that can't be beaten in 2 minutes, success!), it's just stupid.
The Fifth Element never tries to take itself seriously, and Inception does.
[QUOTE="Inconsistancy"]just too much cheese for mecheese_game619Woah, hey. Too much man, too much. Back off.
Dorian Grey-This is an amazing adaptation of the novel A Picture of Dorian Grey; it is stylish, well-acted, and subtle.
Inglorious Bastards-The film is cool in usual Tarantino fashion and was funny, but it felt pretty pointless and silly overall.
Stranger Than Fiction-This is a fairly intelligent comedy; I would would recommend it to anybody who wants something light and comedic but not stupid.
the dictator:was meh wouldnt watch it again
the grudge:as usual awesome
house of athousand corpses:awesome and grusome just how i like it
Dorian Grey-This is an amazing adaptation of the novel A Picture of Dorian Grey. Stylish, well-acted, and subtle, it does the book great justice.

I find most Tarentino stuff to be overrated. Not saying they aren't worth viewing because his films usually are, but people tend to make them out to be some of the most epic stuff ever put in film.

Yeah, his films are pretty much style over substance and rely on coolness rather than depth, but usually they justify their existence alot better than Inglorious Bastards did.
Alien- awesome
Aliens- also awesome
The Last House on the Left- good first film from Wes Craven, but doesn't hold up as well as some other similar movies from this time.
Drive- Completely awkward movie with unnecessary silence and creepy perv smiles.
Cabin in the Woods- Horror movie with comedy to ease the tension, all based on a giant WTF premise.
Dictator- More movie like than Sacha's previous movies and a tad less funny as a result.
The Avengers - Completely awsome, funny, epic, action movie.
The Dictator - Hilarious but way too short.
Horrible Bosses - Hilarious.
SAW VII - The only thing I could think of during the entire movie, was the fact that the blood was pink.
Chinatown - Not sure I understand what all the fuss is about, so I'll give it another try.
Pulp Fiction - Crazy awesome movie, one of the best I've ever seen.
Landscape in the Mist - Haunting but transcendent road movie lovingly wrapped in a multi-layered allegorical quagmire.
The Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll - Logically corrupt and poorly assembled Spanish attempt at making a giallo film.
Baby Face- Wonderful morally bankrupt pre-code era film that wallows in its naughtiness in properly delicious fashion.
Super 8 - ET on Steroids!
Avengers - put in on your "must see list" even if you don't enjoy "this type of movie".
Dark Shadows - if you were born AFTER 1970, you won't get it; if you were born BEFORE 1970 - you still won't

They beat you over the head with the plot so many times in the movie that it lost any chance of being intelligent or memorable. ExitenZ pulls off the idea behind the movie far better, and over a decade before it. The characters were unlikable and shallow. Overall it was a hot mess, I have NO idea how anyone found it too confusing...it was more hamfisted than fvcking bucky larson.
