Money, rather ironically, wound up being partially responsible for why I was abused and made a fool of by psychiatrists and psychologists.
i dont like money...if i have it in my pocket it has to be gone...i hate spending money to pleasemyself...the only things i spnd money on are rollerblades, girls, clothes and the odd game
[QUOTE="Jandurin"]The only thing money needs to do is allow you to fill your basic needs. After that, you have to make yourself happy.markop2003
I find it helps when you don't have to worry about it, i don't mean you can buy a Ferrari everyday but you can simply get on and and as long as you're ssensible can buy what you want. When i had my job i found it made things easyer though i wasn't happier as i just spent on things i didn't really need and i found no satisfaction in buying them as it was easy to get the money.
Money helps in making you more relaxed so you can just say yes for the anything that you would normallly do but past that it's up to you to find your own happyness.
I actually find that money makes me less happy since I actually can afford things. It's easier when you just say no, or get the cheapest thing. Edit: This, of course, is assuming a base amount for survival.[QUOTE="JangoWuzHere"][QUOTE="canary7"]Money can't buy me love! :(Hitman_887
yes it can.
ya Money countols everything ya know:)
Well yes money can buy me a beautiful wife. But that's not love since she will marry me for my money and will compromise on physical satisfaction.I will still not be able to "buy" the satisfaction of giving someone pure physical pleasure.I will have to deal with insecurity from hot guys as I would know that she can attract hot guys. She may even secretly cheat on me.
Seriously, lets leave money aside from the equation. Do you really believe in love? I mean, love is an intertemporal thing, it transcends everything. Seriously, I would say love of family, like bros, sis, mom, dad, daughter, son, etc. does exist, but between two persons of the opposite/same sex in a relationship? You are kidding yourself there. There's only intellectual and physical attraction, thats it. A one night stand is a physical attraction, a girlfriend is an intellectual AND a physical attraction, thats about it, nothing more to it. People get divorced all the time, because love doesnt really exist, and people weren't getting divorced before because it wasnt allowed or it wasnt well seen. The only reason your grandpa and grandma are still together is not because they love each other, its because they got accustomed at living together and that their generation doesnt see divorce as a "ok" thing.
tl;dr: money does bring "love"
Money helps you better in the opposite direction when you have bills to pay/things break etc. This would generally make you happier.
There are plenty of wealthy individuals who aren't happy. Look at all the lottery winners whose lives go to crap, all the wealthy folks who commit suicide. It might buy happiness for some, but it's not always a given deal.Shiggums
I wonder how much more wealthy individuals are not happy compared to poor individuals -- hmm...

I'd bet it's about the same, considering that you have *enough* money in both situations. Being bankrupt can't make anyone feel good.[QUOTE="Hitman_887"][QUOTE="JangoWuzHere"][QUOTE="canary7"]Money can't buy me love! :(kalossimitar

I understand your points.Well my definition of true love is to find someone of the opposite sex most attractive, sweet, charming and cute than anybody else in the world.I do find this girl most attractive than anybody else including all celebrities and models and what not.
Yes love is attraction.People who are really beautifull can get it,people who are not wont.If you love someone just cuz you cant get someone better than that's not love.
And it's not just about love.Hotness will make many women want you be it for a short span but that would really be a feeling to satisfy the desires of a hot girl which only few people get to enjoy.Like donald trump doesnt satisfy any of his hot girls,he just satisfies himself,it's not the same thing as far as I am concerned.
check my blog. we just bought a Rolls Royce recently.
that being said, money does not buy happiness. It just gives you opportunities to do things and live slightly comfortably.
better to be rich and happy, than poor and happy, but they are mutually exclusive issues.
Let Heath Ledger be an example to everyone. Sometimes all people see is the success, but not when the successful are running coke lines or popping antidepessants. while money can make a happy person more happy, money can also provide the means for a man to utterly destroy himself.
How does it NOT buy you happiness? From the title of this topic you sound like some rich kid.
ALL people like financial security.
If there are two guys of comprable looks. One is a bartender the other is a lawyer. Which one would the girl be more inclined to go towards?
I'm not saying love doesn't mean more than money...but money is important.
You can buy a better education for your kids. Knowing your kids are getting the best education they can = happiness
More money = more financial security = less stress = happiness
More cars, more clothes, more vacations, more everything.
Someone tell me how money doesn't buy happiness.HardcoreGamer84
Look money is something everyone wants but when it comes to love, that something money can't buy.
Listen dude, I know a lot of poor people and they are very happy.
