Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won Best Original Song!!!!!!

It's my favorite song of all time, as well as my favorite movie. I'm really happy for them, they deserve every bit of recognition they can possibly get.

I can't wait until this June, I'm seeing them in concert.

EDIT: It was completely awesome how they let Marketa back on stage to finish her speech. I can't believe they didn't nominated the movie for Best Picture, because it seems as if they really loved it.

Was anyone really surprised by that? Nobody else this year came close. Hellen Mirren barley opened the award envelope, everyone knew that he won before it was even announced.

Yeah I had a big feeling he was going to win that award. I got to see There Will Be Blood.

And best Directing award goes to No Country For Old Man. Okay this is it. The next award is best picture. I hoping There Will Be Blood or Atonement wins.

Atonement had no chance, sorry to say but it really didnt. Sure it was a good movie, but nothing about it really stood out like No country for old men.

not quite....it started at 8:30, ended at about 11:45???? Something like that.

All of my predictions were correct:) It's awesome that No Country won. I was also really glad to see Juno win best original screenplay. It's always great when a comedy gets a win like that.bman784

She really pulled off the quirky dialogue.

I still think that Atomement had a chance still. I really haven't thought much about NCFOM before, so that probably why I not really that please it won. But like I said before I going to see it soon, so my opinion could change.

My predictions were pretty much spot on. :) I'm happy No Country for Old Men won Best Picture. It was fantastic.

While I not going to say that Crash is better then BM, since I haven't seen and not care about BM, it was still a great movie IMO. But it was a little confusing.

While I not going to say that Crash is better then BM, since I haven't seen and not care about BM, it was still a great movie IMO. But it was a little confusing.

Brokeback Mountain should have won. Crash didn't deserve it.

*sigh*.:P Anyway Brokeback Mountain doesn't look great to me. I guess because I am not into the gay cowboys theme.:P

Neither Crash nor Atonement should have even been nominated for Best Picture.
