OT Do you consider calling someone of German descent a Nazi to be a racial slur?

To be honest, I don't have a cause. I'm not on a mission to convince those people that what they're saying or thinking isn't fair. So instead of engaging in a losing battle, I just piss 'em off a little bit more and move on.

I wear Rammstein stuff all the time and people call me a Nazi. I don't care though because they are just joking and words don't really matter.

American is a race and Germany is a race. ...:thinks: Yup, that's how it goes.

Calling anyone a Nazi is wrong, I do not care how you place it or in what context. In all things, treat others how you want to be treated.

When I was a Junior in high school there was a German exchange student. And she was really, realy nice, andcute. Heres a pic from her public myspace.

Anyway, one of my best friends who could b described as alittle, funny, horny, slightly nerdy black guy started dating her. And people would poke fun at them telling him that he was dating a dating, and a Jew killer. They were just joking, but still. I started thnking to myself would that be considered a racial slur if someone meant it in that way.

I'm the kind of black guy who doesn't really care when people call me the N word. It's just a word to me. Although I don't know how I would take it if someone meant it in a racist, and hateful fashion. Because that has ever happened to me. Sooo...... I guess I'll just have to wait, and see.

As for the question, no it's not a racial slur because "German" isn't a race. I guess it could be considered a nationality slur? Either way, who cares. I have no regard for the oh-so-precious feelings of the easily offended. I'll call men, women, gays, straights, blacks, whites, jews, mexicans, and every other retard who identifies their self through some socially constructed division whatever I damn well please. No its just stupid, when people make lame jokes like that I dont find it offensive I just find the people dumb because they come up with such a stale, very overused joke.

I think it's more immature and ignorant to say that type of thing.
