[QUOTE="Aquat1cF1sh"]Actually I think I've done the opposite. :? "Hey, that person has a really fancy cell phone... an expensive watch... wow, all AE clothes... They much be spoiled!" Never the other way around.sboyer2
Judging someone for having a lot of expensive material things is just as bad as judging them for not having a lot of material things. You still dont really know the person it's the same concept. People do this all the time...they'll stick up for the person wearing walmart shwag and preach how wrong it is to judge him because of it and then 10 minutes later they'll see a person in all hollister and think to themselves what a preppy spoiled d bag ...works both ways people.
In my life, I've bumped into way more people who judge people for having nice stuff, rather than the other way around. It's like people who spend little money on wearables (either by choice or necessity) think they have cause to be dicks to anyone who likes nice stuff, with the blanket excuse that anyone who spends money on anything must be cocky.
In college, a woman came to my house for a party, and within two seconds of meeting me told me I was arrogant. I pointed out that she'd just met me, and I asked why she thought I was arrogant. She said it was because of how I was dressed. (I had on khakis and a button-up shirt, or something like that.) That's terrific; I'm "arrogant" because of how I decided to dress in my house.
