Why?

Because I said so!

Now, my calcium intake is a little bit above average (living in Wisconsin will kinda do that to you if you like cheese) but it's not like I've consumed enough to have my bones turn into diamonds.

Now I ask you this question of all questions, OT: Do you get enough calcium?

I get more than I need I'd say. I drink a ton of milk and eat a good bit of cheese everyday.

Who knows, probably not. I rarely drink milk these days. Like maybe once a week and I'm not really sure what other foods are calcium strong.

I have a lot of cereal, and also like cheese and yoghurt (but don't consume these as much as milk), so I reckon I'm probably overdoing it.

I got a kick out of the 'make up for it with other vitamins' choice. As if the cells in your bones will say, "there isn't enough calcium to go around, so we're going to start using something else to build these bones. There's plenty of fructose in here, let's try that."

Living in Ireland means I have easy access to great quality Beef and Milk, and it's all real cheap as we have plenty of cattle and farmers.

So yeah, I prob over do it a little . . .

While I occasionally get more than the recommendation, on most days I doubt I get the daily intake.

I don't dislike milk and I like most cheeses alot, but I tend to drink only a small glass of milk a day, and I often avoid cheeses due to their fat content. Sometimes I eat breads that are supplemented with Calcium, but again not regularly.

Obviously not enough, because some of my muscles have been contracting sporadically recently. It's gone away since I started drinking milk again.

Well at least you will have strong bones when you have your first heart attack from high fat intake at 50, unless you nibble on the cheese like a hamster. ;)
