Myself, I never bothered to start one, for several reasons: 1. All of my game reviews, videos, and images are tied in, so why would I abandon a main? 2. Starting over at Level 1 sucks - especially if you try to post in OT or SW.:lol: 3. Moderations don't "disappear" - they affect your alt as well. 4. OT veterans are damn good at sniffing out alts - and no one can hide from Drac, he holds all the keys.:P I really don't see the "allure" to having an alt, so if anyone can enlighten me - I'm stumped. What is your general opinion on alt accounts, OT?
Funny you should make this thread.....I was thinking earlier (just for the sake of curiosity) that if I made and alt and intentionally got myself banned on the account, would that make me a ban dodger? :P
I wish I could have one.:| Because of me making an account when I was suspended very early on when I joined, not knowing it was against the ToU, I am now unable to make anymore alt accounts. Customer service was also didn't help at all and didn't seem to understand the problem.
I have no problem with the ocasional Alt posting, I mean Come on, sometimes you just want to have a little bit of fun with them.
+ Its funny to watch users try to sniff out whos the alts owner.... Of course Drac knows everything some how. :? Oh and there's an alt among you right now :P
lol, It's quite fun guessing them. Anyway, if its bandodging alts then I am rarely too fond. Unless I knew the person. I might have to make one sometime and get 1k posts or something in case I ever need to back myself up in a argument :P
I would never get one, but they can be funny when someone creates one to troll. However they can also be very annoying. Like this guy in SW who has made several new ones a day.

I don't care...unless someone is making alt accounts to troll. Stand up and be honest...don't hide behind anonymity. (I realize the internet is anonymous but user names tend to get a "personality" as it were)
