OT what was your reason for engaging in sex or wanting to later on in life?

I practice celibacy but know lots of people who have sex and always wondered why they did, but of course none of the answers were "because I wanted to procreate" or "to continue the human race" In addition I am not asexual and I am sexually attracted to females.

I want to save that for when I get married; it's a personal choice. With that said, I don't cast judgment on people who have chosen to do it before marriage.

I haven't yet, because I'm simply not ready or am with someone at the moment. That's pretty much it. I don't know when it's going to happen, but I do know it's not something I plan to treat lightly.

I woke up one day and decided it, there is no deep meaning behind it. I guess you can say it was on a whim. So far I haven't had much trouble keeping celibate even at 27 its still just as easy as when I was 13.

The reason I almost had sex is because we love each other and have been together long enough to decide we want to. The only reason I haven't yet is because of the never being alone sistuation.

Waiting, because I believe love doen't need sex to thrive. Not saying sex is bad, it is most certainly an important part of any relationship, but I'd like to focus on the emotional aspect first with my partner.

Because obviously it feels good.

Like I stated before I am not asexual and of course I get the same urges but I do not give into them and no I am not a monk but I do not mind the lifestyle they live. I use meditation, exercise, martial arts, or other activities to keep the urges under control.dracos9000
