I definitely won't, even if they start making video game systems that require it. I will just become a PC gamer exclusively if that happens. I don't think broadcasting companies will start making 3D only programming (like what happened when they switched over to digital) either, so I think it is a waste.

When they release the non-glasses 3D televisions, yes. I *might* buy the 3D ready ones for movies soon since my old DLP is about to die.

A bunch of companies are currrently getting together to make a channel of just 3D programming. Will I ever buy one? Possibly, but not anytime soon and I will wait to see how serious films/tv are about this sudden 3D craze, but it looks like they are very serious at the moment.

No, I haven't even up graded to an HDTV. Although I do use a monitor that displays in 1080p.

There's no way I'm going to wear those ****ing glasses just so I can watch TV with added special effects. I swear people's attention spans are just getting shorter and shorter. Soon there will be no books; everyone will walk around with 3-D glasses, so they can look at all the 3-D signs and billboards.

Probably not until they have holograms, where the entire room would look like what I'm watching and I would be virtually there. With 3D objects and everything.

Probably. I'm sure one day it'll be so common, that it'll just be another part of a TV's specs.

If it's the direction the market is heading, and it's not just a gimmick, then yes, absolutely. And 75% of the people saying "no" here will be getting one, too.

I just got an HD-TV, so certainly not any time soon.

And also, even when I'm ready to get a new TV, I won't even CONSIDER getting a 3D HDTV unless it is absolutely no more than the equivalent non-3D TV. Because I guess that 3D is nice as a freebie, but I REFUSE to pay extra for it.

Not something I will even consider until they hit affordable price range (Vizio does not count), and the content support is there.

I don't get the purpose to OLED. Sure it's cool, but so far all I can see happening with it is E-Newspapers which still is quite dull.

I do not see why 3D would be any different than HD (i.e. optional).

It's just the next step forward. Better contrast ratio, capable of better resolution, has the potential for longer lifespan, draws far less power, nearly indestructible, paper-thin, ridiculously lightweight.... it is literally better than current TV technology in every way.

I haven't even moved on to a HDTV yet. And I don't relish the idea of having to wear 3D glasses (on top of my normal glasses) every time I want to watch TV.

Looking at how technology works, it would be a bad investment to invest thousands of dollars into a tv right now just because it can support 3D when hardly anything supports it right now. I'll wait and see if it starts catching on, that way most, if not all, of the bugs will be fixed, and it'll be cosiderably cheaper and overall better.

No. It was novel watching Avatar in 3D, but I doubt most programs will invest that much money into providing a great 3D experience, so there's no point in buying the equivalent of a gimmick.

Well, can't say that I will. It probably has to go down in price quite a bit before I could even consider it.
