I've heard of Bridge before, but I don't think I have had an oppurtunity to play it, ever.

Is the rest just taking tricks? 4 players? I think I defined hand wrong up there, but it doesn't matter :)Jandurin

4 players, teams of two. You bid on score. Declare trump after winning the bid. Bidder's partner passes some cards to help your hand (normally high cards in trump). Bidder passes back junk cards.

Scoring happens in two phases. First phase is laying down meld (runs, marriages, etc). Rest is playing tricks. Points from meld plus points from tricks must meet or exceed your bid, otherwise you lose points. The other team gets to keep whatever points they earn.
