[QUOTE="ShadowDeathX"]I can't eat leftovers.....mrmusicman247Why not? I like things fresh and get bored of eating a similar thing the next day.
Why not? I like things fresh and get bored of eating a similar thing the next day. So do you eat all the food so you don't have leftovers?[QUOTE="mrmusicman247"][QUOTE="ShadowDeathX"]I can't eat leftovers.....ShadowDeathX

For me, absolutely no leftovers taste good cold. I don't even really like cold sandwiches. I'll eat them if I'm drunk or if that's what you have, but I prefer pretty much everything I eat to be hot food. Just my preference. Even pizza I'll throw in the microwave the day after and so on. Weird, strange, yes I know, but that's just how I like it. Just like I don't like sweet foods mixed with salty foods or other real food.
And falafel just sounds afel. ;)
I'm sorry to say this, but IRL people like you annoy me so much. For me, absolutely no leftovers taste good cold. I don't even really like cold sandwiches. I tend to like any kind of asian food after it's a day old.

I agree with that...
and lets add enchiladas :D
it must be the spices.GazaAli
It's more the texture. The noodles are still good, same with the egg rolls. The chinese place we order out from makes the best general tso's chicken over asparagus. I like the asparagus better the day after than I do when it's fresh. -Shrug-

I wish...just for once to go to a Chinese restaurant :(Being that I cook for myself, I always have leftovers so I eat just about anything that is left over no matter what it is. A pan of lasagna is at least 3 meals for me (it's a big pan).

The only time I did that myself was making some white rice cutting up a leftover eggroll and throwing it into the rice for lunch one time... It was awesome.
I don't cook too much (yet) so my way of doing it was pretty make-shift.
Bread, cake, meat, cheese... Most foods that most people eat are a day or more old.thegerg
bread gets nasty kinda quickly

My Ma was good at making leftovers into something different like Chicken Tetrazzini, but me, I haven't done so. While I still cook some dishes so that I do have leftovers, there is some stuff that isn't. I no longer make 2 pork chops or chicken breasts as I can't eat both in one meal anymore.
Experimentation in cooking is how you find out if something works or not.
Fried Chicken and soft tacos. The hard shell tacos get mushy....

Hmm. fried chicken tastes stale and there's this frozen smell which I dislike when refrigirated

Do you ever make the leftovers into other dishes? ;D

Fair enough,
I guess my mom does things like that too with making chicken and turkey into pastas and such ^^
