[ P O L L ] Who here's parents have gone through a divorce?

My folks have been married 33 years, their first and only marriage. I can only hope to find someone willing to stick it out with me and make it work. What about your parents OT?

Divorce is usually a big thing in Usa as far as I know.When I was in Europe the divorce rate was less than 3%.Now here in Usa all I hear from people is my dad or mom is divorce,I'm gonna spend the weekend at my stepmom etc

I think the divorce rate in Latin America is pretty low too, mainly because the majority are devout Catholics, and outside the US, men rule and women have no rights :P

My parents divorce while i was still quite young, but i lived with my dad, but stay in contact my my mom, as my step mother sucks at being one for me.

yes, i said it, she never treated me right at all the whole time, and if it wasn't for my dad being their for me, i could of done bad things way back then

Never got a divorce, though I can't help but feel our family would have been better off had a divorce actually occurred. There was so much constant negativity on a daily basis in my household, and as terrible as divorces are, my parents still can't seem to make forward progress, even to this day.

LOL I saw a billboard in GA where I used to live that had "$99 Divorce special!!! (Taxes not included)". It made me kinda sad.
