But I don't think that's the issue here, since in my country it's pretty mixed race. I honestly don't know what it is. That's why I've only dated pale girls, despite being attracted to some really hot black girls.

The fact is that tanned skin is damaged skin. That doesn't mean that I look at a woman with tanned skin (as long as it's not leathery) and think "ewww.. you're damaged," but it's something to consider for your own health.

I think everyone should love their own skin regardless of the color it is. I love my own color and I'm very in love with women of the same color as me though physical attraction isn't the only important thing in a relationship.
