How do you think this crisis will turn out and do you think Iran and Syria helped Hamas win in Gaza. I think they did by funding, arming and training them. I am optimistic about the West Bank and i think peace talks can no go ahead there with Hamas out of the picture. Hopefully Israel or Fatah is able to kick Hamas out of Gaza.

Not much israel can do about it. They cannot attack iran as it is too far away and a war with syria would bring iran in so its a sticky situation.

No, Israel and the United States helped Hamas win elections. Considering the sanctions that were put onto Palestine as a whole, a large number of people felt it was time to up the anty by electing the Hamas government. Israel witheld taxes and the US withheld aid. This led Palestinians to believe that Fatah wasn't hardline enough.

Also, there really isn't any way to 'kick' out Hamas out of Palestine, since Hamas is an organization consisting of people who are Palestinian as well. What needsto be done is, Fatah needs to be given the full support of the United States and Fatah needs to win back the people. Win the people and Hamas will begin to topple.

Straight up, Hamas needs to go. However, spilled blood never helped anyone.

As soon as the situation gets better in Palastine, aka with U.S. aid, the Palastinians will see no need to be radical and will support the moderate Fatah

That wasn't the biggest reason Hamas took power. The biggest reason was probably the corruption and other problematic traits among Fatah leaders that led Palestinians as a whole to think they were weak and not trustworthy. The other reason is that Hamas's ideas were very appealing to the Palestinians at the time. Their ultimate goal is to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and it goes without saying that Palestinians hate Israel and want to see it fall. Also, people believed they could bring order to the country.

Statement no.1 : There will be no real peace between Israel or Palestine , one will wipe the other eventually.

Statement no.2 : If hamas was destroyed, which I doubt, another organization with similar ideals will take its place, just a matter of changing names and admins.

Statement no.3 : this can turn out ugly ....

Statement no.4 : be thankful that you are not in Gaza and going through what people are going through there.

.....
