NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Roadhouse has got to be one of my favorite movies EVER! Even if he was doing caucasion faux-kung fu, I dont care, he was awesome in it!
I'm normally one of those who puts in some cold hard joke in these threads but, I think this one is quite sad because he still had so much to live for. I was watching his interview about his illness, at that time he still looked very handsome at his age, and in great shape too. You could tell he was generally very much in love with his wife, who was probably having as much a hard time with it as he was. But yeah, terminal illness sneaking up on him like that. Cruel way to go, watching and knowing it's all going to end when he had so much around him that he still wanted to enjoy.
Think that was why he was so determined to try and get through it, but not like will and pep talk alone is going to get you through that, as he found out.
A pattern I notice emerge however. When a celebrity gets a serious illness or handicap, you always hear them going on about "I will battle this! I will win!" then a week later they're dead.... I remember that with Christopher Reeve; one day he managed to actually move his toes, even though he's been paralysed from the neck down for God knows how many years, then a week later "Superman is dead."
I guess it's a media way to give hope to the people, type thingamajig.
They can probably afford a standard of healthcare that most of us could never dream of, so they've got reason to be more optimistic than Joe Bloggs. Maybe Christopher Reeve's progress followed from an experimental treatment and had something to do with his death too.>...A pattern I notice emerge however. The guy was being tested on hard and he wanted them to do it. In a way, hats off to him.Yeah, Jake Gylenhaal killed that pedo

Uncool, dude. To all the people saying they'll watch Red Dawn and Roadhouse it sounds like you're taking the piss. Go to your video collection, flick through to the P's, and break out Point Break - an all time classic film imo
I leave a suitable final image:
