Awww, I like how she (the model) was all distressed about it as soon as everyone else brought it up. She didn't give a rats ass about it prior to that, at all. People were making a big deal out of it, despite the girl obviously not being uncomfortable with it. The camera man was totally in the right, the people that got provoked had no real reason to confront him the way that they did. Note: I didn't have sound on when I watched the video, I'm just going by the visuals here. :PBiancaDK
No, the camera man wasn't "in the right". Sure, he had a "right" to be there taking pictures, but the way he handled the situation was completely wrong. As soon as someone questioned what he was doing, he immediately started talking about how he can film what he wants and starts waving his rights around in the woman's face. As you can see, that did nothing but make everyone get pissed off and hostile.
Pervert or not, the camera man should've known better. If you're gonna be filming strangers without their consent, then you'd damn sure better get good at defusing potentially hostile situations, rather than making them worse. The camera man needs to be diplomatic about this kind of stuff.
She didn't even care until her mother jumped inMaybe she was tooshy to speak up? If that were the case I don't think she would be doing poses like that in Times Square..[QUOTE="ToppledPillars"][QUOTE="bruinfan617"] Doesn't warrant any sort of pervertedness. I really hope people aren't going to use the blame the victim mentality....bruinfan617
... so is that where the word came from? If so why is it suddenly getting mentioned a lot in this thread?Goofy Goober

While he has the right to video tape anything he wants, he doesn't have the right to make borderline child porn. If he was focusing on the whole pose instead of focusing on her assets, then no problem. Mom didn't see him originally as he was behind her, though the professional photographers had seen him, they should have said something first. Mom said something when she did when he finally moved to videotape from a different angle.
I wonder how the ladies in this thread would feel if people video taped them while sitting at a table and filming them hoping to get an upskirt or they were walking down the street and their dress flies up and then have the video posted somewhere? The girl is obviously under 18 and the reason why her mom is there. As noted, the girl is wearing ballet shoes so the photo shoot could very well be for the girls ballet school or for the ballet she dances for. It may not necessarily be for money as some people think or assume it to be. We do not know what the shoot was for. The girl could have worn sweats, but it could hamper movements.
What I find fascinating is that a gay guy is filming a girl to begin with. With her being underage, just reinforces some people homophobias about gays being sick deviants. It would be sicker still to video underage males.

He sounds like Mr. Mackey from South Park lol.
By the way, I see this as art. If he was perverted he would go wild and touch her.
The universal rule is: Don't do anything in public that you aren't comfortable with people seeing. The cameraman may have had awful intentions, we'll never know, but the shoot was in public and therefore he's free to tape it if he feels like it.
As per borderline child pornography, that's rather a sticky issue and none of us here are able to make a legal distinction along those lines, maybe the guy is a pervert, maybe he is a troll, who knows but if it's borderline cp, than the shoot itself must have been as well.
While it is kind of creepy what he was doing its kind of hipocritical to say what he was doing was wrong... Because isnt the photoshoot of her bending over and lifting her legs up 20 feet in the air intended for perverts as well? lol Like I dont understand

Take note of the ballet slippers. Ballet dancers frequently preform such actions in the performance of their dance routines.
Foxhound_fox, a girl doesn't have to be naked to be considered child porn. If the cad with the video camera was not just focusing on her assets, then maybe one could agree that he wasn't being indecent, but due to him expressly focusing on those area, then yes.

I bet if he was a female NO one would have said anything, they just assumed cause he was a man he must be a pervert.

I don't know about you, but I don't know of too many parents taking crotch shots of their kids no matter what they are wearing.

As soon as the woman said something to him, he immediately called her a "bag", I think, which clearly shows he intended conflict. If he was innocently filming, he wouldn't have been such a jerk.you know there was like 2 or 3 other guys there taking photos...

I think his retort was quite reserved actually.
