most of that isnt a pet peeve. seems the definition has been lost somehow. those are just dislikes and your thoughts on things you dont agree with or likein modern society and culture. let me ask this what do you like? andwhat do you do for fun? hopefully your gonna add smart asses to the list now:P
No, I don't think you get it; I'm not being a smartass. Those are all things that seriously piss me off nonstop, time after time, without fail. I more or less hate everyone and everything, except for a few particulars. What do I do, you ask?
Well, my wife first and foremost. Second, I'm actually an attorney (as is my wife), and I currently work on title opinions (if you're not familiar with the term, google it). In my spare time, I'm a semi-professional session drummer, and I play and record a lot of music. I also teach percussion during the summers through a local university, and I volunteer as what you might call a "writing consultant" at the same university's writing center; I teach students how to properly construct effective idiomatic arrangements, research analysis, and extended argumentation within their papers when they come to the writing center for help. When it comes to writing and intellectual exercises, I have extremely high standards, and that makes me seem borderline OCD. There is no end to the flow of things in this society that really, truly piss me off. Sorry to come across as a hateful elitist. That is, in essence, exactly what I am.
by the smart ass comment i was talking about me i figured you might add it to the list becuae i thought i would come offasone. i also know there is alot to hate about todays world i cant begin to list my complaints about it but ill save that for another time, so your not alone there. people do think im OCD sometimes too but im not, just because i get worked up over something doesnt make me OCD. im impressed you do quite alot and im glad to see someone has a job and a decent life in this day and age.
i also think iwas a bit to harsh in my original response, i do that sometimes i look at something the first time and get like that but then look at it again later and see there was something wrong about how i did it.
