I second that. Can't say I agree with their claims, (chicken is delicious) but I respect what they stand for. It is irritating to see stuff like this though, lol. Why, lets not farm the cows... lets farm the women of our own kind!
And all you people on your high horses... remember that you are drinking milk from another species that has to go through an endless loop of pregnancies and abortions to get you that milk.
Its strange how people are grossed out by thought of drinking HUMAN milk but have no problem drinking from another species. It would seem that human milk would be our first choice since we are human. I don't agree with it though. I just don't think you'll get enough women to start making the countries milk. They would have to work overtime and their nipples would look horrible.

Good point, but we used to drink human milk so it seems like it should come natural for us to do so when we're older. We didn't eat our own species as babies.

Also, if PETA thinks cows are being done a disservice by being milked, they're idiots. Dairy cows NEED to be milked. Take it from someone who's lived on a farm. If you don't milk a dairy cow, it is absolutely miserable.

Back in the day there were such things as wet nurses. And that is all they did. I am sure there are hormones women could take that would stimulate production and in many cases they will continue to produce milk as long as there is 'demand' for it.

I double checked this one, I was right. Wikipedia says: Under the influence of the hormones prolactin and oxytocin, women produce milk after childbirth to feed the baby.
I'd say, as soon as they can get a woman to produce as much milk a day as a milking cow, they'll get a shot at trying it. Let's see what PETA women are actually capable of.

Yeah Im sure all the PETA folks are just suckin down the breast milk in their houses. The day I see the words breast on my Ben and Jerry's ice cream pint, is the day I buy an ice cream machine.
If I had a time machine and I could go back in time only once, I would go back in time and kill the idiot that founded PETA.

Let's hope that if a time machine were ever invented, they choose not to send you back in time. While they're annoying, there are much more deserving people of that punishment.
