That is wrong. Your comparing the extreme of physical pain to a relatively mild form of emotional pain. Emotional pain can never get that bad as being on the rack or being boiled alive etc
I think I'd rather take physical pain, so emotional pain is worse.
edit: I've never experienced real physical or emotional pain though. I'm basing my answer on what mild pain I have actually felt, and emotional trumps. Needs a poll.
Lol i think people think they are meant to say emotional pain. I think it helps that i dont have the ability to suffer emotional pain, whatever that is. So yeah i'd rather not get physical pain.

My theory is that they want girls to think they are super sensitive and straight out of a middle aged womans romantic novel so they've wired this response into their brain.

I had it for 3 years. I take it any day over physical pain. It doesn't really "hurt" anyway it's just your thoughts only people who think emotional pain is worse have never experienced real physical pain....or they're just emos lol I haven't either tbh but I know emotional pain is endurable to say the least. The same can't be said about physical pain. I rather be depressed my entire life then an hour in one of the things I posted. Yeah there are extreme case like if something would happen to your family or so the emotional pain can be unbearable. But the pain itself I don't think can be compared to extreme physical pain.
Why are you comparing horrible pain that lasts at most a few hours (and will often knock you out in minutes or sooner) to emotional pain?
The body is easier to keep under control. I should know about that as my spine is broken...

I didnt say kicked in the balls though. We are talking agony. Hell i'd rather have your situation than my earache i had a few weeks ago. Really quite immune to it all.

What exactly happened, if you do not mind me inquiring?
Birth defect, a bad case of spina bifida. Normally the vertebrae grow like a ring that protects the spinal cord. Some of mine didn't fuse correctly, the ring is open. It hurts, I can't make much effort, I have weak legs etc. I learned to ignore the pain and when it gets worse pills fix me.

I'm not a jerk at all. I dont talk to anybody, i'm probably slightly anti-social. I wouldnt give anyone emotional pain.
As for your question. Its not the same, i want to die anyway and if i wouldnt be agonisingly tortured to death then yeah i'd choose death.
Depends on the severity. I'd rather have a broken heart then a broken pelvis (even if I don't know it at the time), but I suppose a broken arm is much better then missing someone you love who died or left.

There are many worse things than getting hit in your nuts brah. So the first one you think is awful? Thats a GOOD thing. They left. A bad thing left. You should feel lucky and vindicated. I'd be pissed on the second one. I'd have to choose either to move on or stay and focus my anger into actual hate. Then hunt them down. Or.. mourn their loss, do my best to help get the killers caught, and make myself into a better man. Unless you let it consume you, it should end up like a dull ache like any physical pain. Pain is relative. There are injuries to the muscles that can last a lifetime. Same with emotional. It is just that you can choose not to be weak and move on from the emotional pain.
