Seems like I have a terrible time getting to sleep each night. It has to be completely dark, even the tiny blinking light of my monitor when in standby must be turned off. I have to have a fan running for ambient noise, and I usually take a shower right before bed to have a clean feeling. Now, I can sleep without a shower, but its much harder for me to sleep. There can be no other noise other than my fan or my computer's fans running. If I can hear the slightest sound of a TV or Stereo from the next room, it'll keep me awake. Anyone else picky about sleeping?

I need a pillow to sleep. But my arm also works. Light doesn't matter. Sound sometiems bugs me. A few years ago my neighbor installed a water fountain. I had a had tiem falling asleep for abotu a week. Then when winter hit and he turned the fountain off is was accustomed to the running water sound and couldn't sleep

But an easy way to get over sleep problems is either alchohol or drowsy medicne liek antihistamines or cough surupe. Or at least used in the very short term. Tey drinking soem tea. And a bit of milk and chocolate.

Those methods work, but I cant be a drunkass every day and taking dramamines and amphetamines at bed helps me sleep at first but then I get this rush (from the amphetamines) that jolts me awake and liteally, no joke, make me feel like I'm dying for a spit second.

Yeah I've got a bit of that too. My circadian rythm has me sleepy around 6 or 7 PM when Im usually working so I get a second wind and don't get tired again till 3AM.

I can be that way if i'm not active enough throughout the day, only thing that makes it impossible for me to sleep are sore legs which happens every once in a while and a few aspirin takes care of that.

I used to be like that, but now the medication that i'm taking makes me so tired that I don't have any problems at all.
