I've been looking for a suggestion. What should i do if i get high pings, high latency in any online game. My isp is fine. but the problem lies that the game server is far from my destination. I've been doing some research lately but i couldnt find any appropriate solution.

What should I do ?

I play games like WOW, DOTA 2 and LOL (sometimes)

Move your computer closer to the server.

Here you go, http://www.amazon.com/ZyXEL-Powerline-Ethernet-Adapter-PLA4201KIT/dp/B008BFAGIC/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1386573042&sr=1-1&keywords=ZyXEL+500+Mbps+Mini+Powerline+AV+Ethernet+Adapter+Kit

What this does is it takes your internet signal and travels through your outlets and goes into your PC, PS3, Xbox, whatever you want. You have to get the pair though because getting only 1 doesn't work. The device comes with ethernet cables which are not very long so I recommend getting your own. You take one of those and connect an ethernet cable to it and also connect it into your modem or router, you then take the 2nd one and plug it into any outlet that is in your home and connect it into whatever needs internet, and it's just like having your router connected directly to the PC.

It saved my ass when I moved my computer to my room where the WiFi signal just refuses to reach. The only thing that sucks about it is that there are these little times that the internet kind of fails for a few minutes. The only quick way to fix this unfortunately is to unplug and replug the ZyXEL into the wall. That's a small sacrifice to make to have great internet connection though. I also don't recommend using a power surge for the ZyXEL since it may affect internet speed. I put it directly into my wall and have 2 which are connected to my router and PC. I move the 2nd one to the PS3 and such when I want to. Might pick up a 3rd or another pair when the prices go down again.

thank you -ParaNorman- , how ever i've been searching for reviews, (users) from past 20 mins and couldnt find any (recently).

Btw i came up with something in between, want to share it with you guys. http://www.purevpn.com/blog/purevpn-the-best-mmo-online-gaming-vpn/

According to this blog, our problems can be solved, if not we can get better results compared to what we are currently getting.

Also if vpns are out solutions, ill try other vpns too cuz relying on one will not help.

Lets see.

Maybe you're in the wrong server for games like LoL? Where are you from?

I'm assuming you're using an Ethernet cable rather than wifi?

If you're using a cable, there's not much you can do.
