Pink Floyd by a mile. AlthoughI know Led Zeppelin gets way more recognitionthan Pink Floyd (That makes me reallysad)

Well this forum is filled with more metalheads than anything, so it's not too surprising that they are leading here (as Zeppelin were progenitors of the metal genre). If we had a lot more stoners, the scale would be tipped in the opposite direction.

I was a fan of Zeppelin for years before I finally warmed up to Pink Floyd, but now I have to go with the Floyd. Both bands are extremely talented, but Pink Floyd's music speaks to me more.

Hard decision, as they're both my top two bands of all time. They both have classic albums, with Pink Floyd claiming Animals, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, DSotM, PatGoD, Atom Heart Mother, and Meddle, while Zeppelin's first 6 albums, Led Zeppelin I-IV, Houses of the Holy, and Physical Graffiti, are fantastic as well. Both have has lasting influences on the industry, and are beloved by many. If it came right down to it, I'd say Led Zeppelin is my preferred band, Pink Floyd is right behind, close enough that they could switch places and I wouldn't care.
