Summer school.

EDIT: I will also probably start jogging after I'm finished summer school, so I can get a little bit in shape. It might be hard to follow though, because I'm really lazy. :P

1. Find a new job that pays at least $15 an hour, and will give me at least 32 hours a week (currently I'm working for less than $11/hr with the same hours and can barely scrape by). Looking at either higher level security (i.e. armoured cars or the Canadian Mint) or delivery services (i.e. Canada Post, UPS, etc.). 2. Get in shape. The last time I was truly in shape was 2003. It has been too long, I'm too fat, and something needs to be done. I've tried making changes in the past but they never stuck... but this time I must be determined. Not only for my self-esteem's sake, but for my health and future. I want to be able to play with my future children and not get winded after a few minutes. And I want to live to the ripe old age of 90+. 3. Begin *practising* religion rather than reading about it. For the longest time I have been applying a rational, scientific method to my understanding of religion, and it got me no answers that satisfied my longing for understanding. I'll put anything that seems interesting into practice (which I have been doing for several things already, mostly related to thoughts) but will focus on Buddhism since it contains the most things I agree with, and has given me the most positive experiences so far. But then again, reading Karen Armstrong these days, anything is possible, since I'm learning so much about Judaism, Christianity and Islam that I never knew before. Personal experience with a numinous "other" in the sub-conscious is my goal... but it is a life-long journey. 4. Tend to my apartment-garden on the patio and make sure all my plants stay alive all summer. I'm hoping my morning glory's turn out well. 5. Invest some spare time in eliminating a chunk of my back-log for gaming. Because I've probably got 50 games I need to play or finish, but I just keep playing the same old things over and over again.

Work, girls, games, summer classes, Otakon, start on a cosplay, end the cycle of self isolating behavior. The typical nerdy stuff.

I'm hoping my morning glory's turn out well.foxhound_fox

Too much information man. :P

It's winter here, and I've got no trips planned between now and the end of the year, except for a weekend down at Melbourne ...

Next summer, though, I've got a 3-week road trip planned :D. Doing a round trip from Sydney through Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra. Will be sweet :D

My plans are to continue working.

Have fun with that.

I actually like the job I have now - Needs to happen to live our life now doesn't it? Can't make it very far without making money in this life. It's just something that needs to be done. I have bills to pay.

Yup

[QUOTE="markop2003"]First off i've got to replace the hard drive that failed yesterday. Apart from that i'm going to try to lose some fat and gain some muscle, read, learn to cook a little better, take a look at doing my theory driving test, perhaps read some text books to improve my computer skills ready for next year and perhaps do some industry certs. I'm may build a project too, did have the idea of making a super computer a while back just for the hell of it or perhaps some new furniture as my current setup is kinda ghetto.AudioPrison

Im on my 4th attempt at my theory test  my dad keeps having a go but its like hes paying for it, but I hope you have better luck with it than I seem to do :)

Theory? Damn, do you want to borrow my driving theory test CD, it comes with hazard perception aswell :)

More of the same. No difference between winter, fall, spring, summer other than the weather.

Going on a cruise in late June. Should be fun. I'll probably take some education courses as well in order to get my permanent teacher's certification.

Reading books, listening to music, trying for a job, hanging out and stuff. Mainly the job thing. If I can't get one then I'll just try and be productive with my time.

Me and the girlfriend might go to Northern Ireland for a week or so as the ferry is only about £30 there.

I'll try get more shifts, go to some more free festivals, bbq's with family, just general summer stuff.

God damn I did my theory two years ago and it was too easy. The only difference with mine is that it was motorcycle questions on maintenance and that instead of car related questions. How anyone can fail the UK theory test is beyond me..

Hopefully meet some members of the opposite sex. Other then that not much, just the same boring stuff. Oh, and then I'm going to college in the fall which will be the official end of my low stress level that I've had for the past 17 years.:(

CycleOfViolence

Trust me college isn't as stressful as you may think. As long as you stay on top of your work and develop good study habits you'll be surprised at how stress free it is.

I'm guessing you're not an engineer.

Beginning would be my sister's wedding this friday. Then end of June going up to my grandparents house and then over to my cousin's for his grad party. Various other grad parties and such. Middle of July will be doing some camping with fam, then nothing till end of august when classes start again.
