Ok here's what happened yesterday my brother tried to use my computer to send a fax but i dont have a fax machine so when he tried to send it this message from my hp printer came up saying you dont have the proper program to do this and send please insert the apropriate disk to install. So i click cancel and when i do this a error message comes up and takes me back to the please insert disk thing again so i ctrl alt delete it and end task. I restart my computer and log on and the please insert disk thing comes up again so end task it again. I then try to go on the internet and it says program cannot be found and tells me to browse for it and when i do i find the folder but theres nothing in it for me to click on. I check my games, windows word, and everything and when i click on them the same browse thing comes up its like they dont exist anymore. so i uninstall my printer program. That doesn't work. I try system restore like 30 times that doesnt work. I try to repairs windows that doesnt work. I try to unistall and reinstall windows that doesnt work. Ive tried disk dreframentation that doesnt work i tried scanning the computer for errors and that doesnt work.

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO im on my dads laptop posting this.

PLEASE HELP THANKS GUYS

It may help to go under control panel and delete your printers drivers although make sure you still have the original install disc or have already downloaded the drivers before you tried this. I'm not a professional, but that might do the trick.

It also may be helpful if you post in the right forums. But since it already seems to be there I won't link you to it./

So none of your applications are starting up? After you've tooled around with the HP printer drivers? Ya I agree with everyone else, uninstall printer drivers and any HP application. Try downloading the latest software for your hp printer from HP and re-install. You can also try booting into safemode (F8 after reboot) and try using the system restore point.
