Please not anoher Pirates!

All about Jack Sparrow? What about Elizabeth and Will getting married? All i remember from the third was Japenese guys, lady turns giant and Will leaves Elizabeth on some Island with a kid because he can come once every ten years to visit for aday and then Jack rows away with to ladies. What was the third even about? they didnt get across there point!The fourth is gonna suck. pirates doesnt have that much in it likeSW to make that many movies. What are your thoughts?

I liked all three and I knew with the way they ended three there would be another. Not a surprise at all.:|

I thought the trilogy was pretty good.

i liked the trilogy too. i thought the music was great and the scene where the cursed pirates walked underwater was my favorite

The third was a giant trainwreck except for the parts with Davy Jones's Locker. I can't believe there are people that had no problem with Calypso!

Maybe the fourth one will be good. I want to see more POTC.

OK, i saw the first thought it was good, thought second would be good it wasnt as good as i thought it would, so eventually i saw the third because someone showed me it. I thought it was worse thanthe second, it didnt get the story across and was boring.

I loved all three and await the fourth however did you even see the date on this? This is so old it hurts. I was really hoping there was something new to say about it.

The second and third movies left me with a huge feeling of "wtf". :|

ouch but hey he did do Chicago and everyone who saw the third one could conclude that Orlando and Kiera were pretty much written out of the film. Also its not like the last director did such a great job with the last two as he did with the first one so a change of directors might not actually be so bad.

I think the third film (and the trilogy as a whole) was mainly about the relationship between Will and Elizabeth and how it affected (and was affected) by all the pirate action going on around their lives. The next movie will either focus on Jack or someone else in Jack's life.

The first was on was amazing, the second one was good, and the third one just sank to rock bottom. Although I wouldn't mind seeing the 4th installment I'm hoping they would focus more on Jack and less random things like they did on the third Pirates of the Caribbeans.

Given the general lack of support for the OP's viewpoint, I too must say that the only good Pirates was the first 1.

The first one had a good balance between dark/scary to comic/quirky and kept its focus on the main character Jack Sparrow. The second lost most dark themes for more comedy and a more loose story. It also chose to focuse on Legolas and Kieara Knightly (or whatever their character's names were). The third film even dropped its focus on Legolas so the focus of most of the movie is on Kieara. Now she's hot, can kind of act, but I found her character very boring. Then add on the heeping pile of WTF that the second to movies gave us and you get two films I do not like.

I know, i think im the only person who like 2 and 3 alot more than 1. it was like part 1 and 2 to a 5 and a half hour epic.

while the plot in 3 did jump around, I had no problem following it.

I don't know why people think pirates are cool. Think of the worst kinds of people we keep in maximum security prisons these days. Those are the people who would have been pirates, not guys like Jack Sparrow.
