Pokemon....is real?

I don't have access to pokemon yet, so instead I've been training my dog (and I *was* training my cat too, I suppose) to fight instead while I wait. So far he only knows bite and growl, but he's won both of his battles so far (my poor kitty ...couldn't escape). I was wondering how you think animals would hold up against pokemon when they arrive, I'm hoping to integrate my dog, Firega (I'd like to think that if he had a type, it would be fire), into my pokemon team. Possibly my chicken too, if I can get it to obey commands (any recommendations?)

yeah there was a post somewhere saying they werent accepting any more because they have loads of people trolling them which is annoying because i really wanna get involved in the structured debate that one guy tried to start their.

Think about it, all the seizures those kids who watched the episode had can't be a coincidence.

It was obviously a message. The Porygons were trying to connect with Earth, and tell the children a message. They wanted to make contact. But the negative reactions from their communications caused the children to have seizures, causing a massive backfire.

Porygon needs us...

Hello there!

My name is Professor Oak. I am apparently quite famous in this universe and I have a right to be! I developed the technology to sustain the portal to the pokeworld so that pokemon can travel between dimensions. We're still logging most of them at the moment (there are literally thousands of species of pokemon, but we're trying our best) but we are hoping to release them into the wild here by the 16th July 2008.

I have also devoted a lot of effort towards publishing my research via nintendo. The pokeballs (or dispersion spheres to use their scientific name) were based on my research notes. In fact all the names of pokemon are pretty much accurate (we had to change a few here and there when they were unpronounceable in any of the languages this side of the portal). I will have to add that the gym badges are a plot device from nintendo, but I have shown the people on the other side the pokemon game and they have shown interest in starting up such a system in the near future, so by the time you guys will be there you should be able to battle gym leaders to your hearts content!

Some pokemon have, admittedly, escaped into the wild for which we apologise for. We also apologise for any Nintendo have presented to you. They have assured me that the changes were necessary so that the game would sell!
