Police arrest man 62 times for Trespassing at his Job.

A Florida police department is facing racial profiling charges after stopping a man 258 times and repeatedly charging him with trespassing at the convenience store where he works.

At least once a week for the last four years, Earl Sampson, 28, has been stopped by Miami Gardens police — and searched more than 100 times, jailed 56 times and arrested for trespassing 62 times, records show.

Seems to be true according to other sources. This is why zero tolerance policies are a joke, and it's policies such as these that create a greater rift between a community and their police force.

Institutionalized violence is the worst type of violence. It's bad, and it's particularly stupid: the officers are wasting their (payed) time instead of actually working. I hope they get a proper sentence, rather than a two-week payed vacation.

I don't really know the correct term for it, but I work at a supermarket and I get a card to prove I work there. Maybe that's just something that doesn't happen in the US/Canada.

Not for supermarkets. Some places like a call-center a friend used to work at have ID badges which open doors. However aside from that, and business cards, I haven't even heard of a "worker's card"

I have never received any kind of card that will show proof of my employment at any of my jobs. The biggest name I have worked for is the Home Depot which only give you an apron with a nametag on it that you wear when you are already on the clock. After or before work though, you could just as well be another customer.

Human beings are a waste of sapience and should all be put down to spare them of the misery they cause one another. I hate them.

"3 strikes" does not apply to arrests, only to convictions as the person under arrest is still presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

That law is generally only used in the state of Florida for violent felonies.

Robbery, murder, etc...

But if you commit a gun crime in Florida expect the 10, 20, life.

Murder, and you'll probably get lethal injection.
