alright, how about the last 5 shots. theres no way you can possibly justify that? was the guy gonna throw the ax back at the cops with five bullets in his stomach?BossPerson
Many things. He was shooting one handed and trying to control a police dog, he could have missed a few times. He could have gotten caught up in the moment. Faced with a high-intensity situation, nerves get frayed. Maybe he didn't realize he squeezed off so many shots?
What the fvck does it matter in the end? The guy came at them with an ax INTENDING to kill them. He got what he deserved.
The one where the car flips over is the most disturbing. The guy flies out and is either dead or terribly injured, and the cops jump on him and start pounding on him?

there should be some kind of restraint, cops should be trained not to do that. It doesnt even matter, the cop saw him on the floor, and decided to put more bullets into him.....there should be some kind of restraint, cops should be trained not to do that. Become a cop, and then you can make those kinds of remarks. Otherwise, it's just uninformed drivel.

idont have to be a cop to know shooting an injured guy whose one the floor (he could very well be dead as well) is a fvcked up thing to do. Are cops always right according to you? Sure you do, because neither you, nor I, know how many times that man was shot nor what was going on the mind of the officer at the time.
I do. They refused orders to move and were there unlawfully. That gave the cops justification to pacify them and move them.

maybe we should play a game where we tell airshocker of police brutality or US war crimes, and well see if he can justify them?

[QUOTE="Mafiree"]Most POs are poorly educated? Many departments require an associates degree and some even require a four year degree...... Please, understand what the hell you are talking about before riding your high horse into battle.jonathant5Having an associates degree does not mean someone is well educated, and from what I can tell most places either require a HS degree, or on top of that sometimes require 60 college credits (2 years) with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (should be at least 3.0 imo)...hmmm pretty sure in terms of that I was right. And I never said most are, but I am sure that a fairly substantial amount of the "regular/patrol cop" are. But that is besides the point, what really is the issue is the way they treated those people, the amount of violence and brutality shown. And I am sorry but an excuse such as "the pressure" is not enough, and I am sorry, but how could cops be in pressure to that extent where they crack. If they were in the Army and in a combat zone I would understand, but in this case, i am sorry but that simply does not work.
I know plenty of people who attended a university who are complete morons. Going to college doesn't mean sh*t.

They move on their own in many circumstances. So you watch a few police brutality videos on youtube and judge the entire police force on that. Then you go on to say that basically police officers are unintelligent. Have you looked in the mirror lately?

You're saying that inflicting pain and physical harm is fine if it makes things convenient for the cops?

how can you play Skyrim and post on a board at the same time? What about your RAM usage!!???.........Skyrim uses ram like sh!t, I know....People really need to calm the hell down. Accusing all police officers of being brutal monsters because of the actions of a few is beyond ridiculous, it's naive and immature. There are dicks in every proffesion, it just happens that it's particularly visible in cops because they deal with violent people and are put in incredibly stressful situations on a daily basis. By the logic people in this thread are using, since I was treated poorly by a cashier at Subway, all Subway employee's must be dicks right? No, that would be just stupid to assume that.
Would all you whiners rather there were no cops? It's worked out great for Somalia...

We have a use of force model that dictates most of our actions. Non-compliance with issued orders is resistant active.
As you can see on the Use of Force model, we're authorized to use compliance techniques when the subject(s) are resistant active.
Handcuffs are used when the situation is under control.
You don't have to like it, but this is the model that most police departments and federal LEOs use.

No it didn't. They were resisting, the cops were well within their rights to use compliance techniques(pepper spray, tazer, asp baton, police dog, etc.)
