[QUOTE="nintendo-4life"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Uh...he gave minors wine and called it Jesus Juice. It was documented by other adults and children as well I believe.:?

Pirate700

i'll need to re-check that statement because I think only the prosecution called that. MJ never admitted that... ok before i go on let me just check and i'll get back to you...

Read what you want. MJ admitted to being in bed with them and giving them jesus juice. This was years ago.

I don't believe he ever admitted to giving them "jesus juice".

The reason Jackson's death is so sad to me is because his comeback concert(s) where less then 1 month away plus a new album may have been in the works as well. The dude still had it in him :(

The story is so old its harder to find articles on it. Here's on from google though about him being in bed with them from a Scottish site of all places: http://news.scotsman.com/michaeljackson/Jackson-admits-taking-young-children.2399338.jp

I know I said that in the edit. And really cares about the booze when HE'S IN BED WITH KIDS? You're worried about the wrong thing.

100% Yes.

I may be going off on a tangent here and I mean no disrespect to the man but I'm sick of hearing about his death already. Geez, it's like you can't take a step in any direction without tripping over Michael Jackson coverage.

That's besides the topic, i've spent the last few years looking up the whole "sleeping with children" thing. But this is the first time i've heard about "Jesus Juice". I'm just confused. How can people say giving alcohol to minors is legal when MJ was charged of "giving alcohol to minors"? I find it funny because that was actually debugged so quickly in the case people rarely talk about it.

No. It's sad to see those videos where he was sad and people calling him a freak. Well I gotta admit he did do too much to his nose. Really because he never had a child hood, I think that he was pretty much a kid stuck in a grown mans body. So no I'm not over his death yet. Matter of fact I never thought that I'd be affected by his death. I was a fan, not one that had bought every album that came out and stuck every poster of him to my wall. I was a small fan of him. I do miss him.

I never cared in the first place. I never get why people mourn over deaths of people they don't even know. I need to know the person to actually care.

I've been over it for a while now. Sure, his death was a shock but he was way past his prime. It's just a shame he died at a relatively young age.

I wasn't really too upset over his death since he was very controversial and he hadn't produced any music in nearly ten years.

Now Billy Mays's death, that's going to take some time to digest.

As someone who grew up with his music and being ableto see him in his prime, yes, I still feel a loss now that he is gone. Like him or not, there will never be another like him, and in that sense it's sad. He was quite possibly the best entertainer this planet has ever seen. It's sad listening to his music knowing there won't be any more.

I know some people here are kids, but still it seems crazy to think that Thriller is the only song you know. Heck, that song doesnt get much airplay anymore. Its kind of a novelty. You are much more likely to hear Beat It, Bad, Black or White, Smooth Criminal, Man In The Mirror. Etc.

And I am a Prince fan, not a Michael one. Though I am old...

It was mostly just disappointment, because I wanted to see if he was still able to perform well during the concerts. It was a shock, but as with anything, the overwhelming media coverage meant I got over it pretty fast. Now I'm just left asking: isn't there any other news?

Hmm you need a kind of option. I never cried over his death or got too upset, I just thought it was a shame and felt sorry for him and his family. Every so often I'll think "Wow I still can't quite believe it" but I don't give it a second thought. And I think "heres been like 10000000 tributes and other crap about him on TV lately" is a bit insensitive of you - saying that over someone like Jade Goody is fine but Michael Jackson was a leading figure in the industry and deserves a bit of respect. That's like someone whinging about people tributing Elvis' death - course they're gonna talk about it for a while.

I got over Michael Jackson's death as soon as Billy Mays died, and I got over Billy Mays' death as soon as Steve McNair died. Right now I'm still on Steve McNair's death.
