I'm starting to like statistics, so here's another question.
A lot of people smoke, a lot of people every year win the fight and manages to quit. How about you?

I used to smoke pot, but stopped a while back cause it just got boring. Proof right there that it isn't addictive, went from every day use to zero use overnight.
I still smoke cigs though, 3 packs a week not too much so it isn't bad.
wow i am surprised i would have thought that more people smoked.dangerd0g24I did. I understand why people smoke and hold nothing against them.
No, I don't smoke, and never will. Same goes with drinking.ayanami_reiNever say never kiddio, do it at least once to understand why people do it. One drink won't kill you.
[QUOTE="xSIZEMATTER"]I smoked from the age 10 to the age 13. Black_Knight_00
Good Lord
Glad you made it out.
Think that is bad? My bother is 20 and he has been smoking since he was 9.

Oh pot is totally not physically addictive. In any way. Cigs though... they get you. I only smoked for a month and a half and it was still hard to quit.

Well some users on these boards adamantly believe it is...I've been smoking for about 2 years now? I can't really remember. Like I said I don't smoke cigs much so I doubt quitting would be too hard. *goes outside for a smoke*I used to smoke pot, but stopped a while back cause it just got boring. Wow...marijuana was proven not to be physically addictive years ago, bro. Only psychologically.
Anyhow, yes, I smoke. I have since I was 13. I used to regularly use several smokable drugs in high-school as well. Now I'm a soldier so I only enjoy a cigarette every hour or so. You try to get through a deployment without some kind of stimulant.

Alright, genius, if you say so. Nicotine is physically addictive. Your brain starts needing it after it gets used to it. Look it up. THC (the stuff in marijuana that dries your mouth out, squints your eyes, and makes you hungry) has no physically addicting qualities at all. It's all psychological. You 'think' you need it. Without nicotine you could go through withdrawals. Like a crack head after a day or so without a fix.

oh so you obviously havent smoke enough weed. Try smoking weed everyday for 2 years and then some and tell me you're not addicted to pot. I dare you.

been there, done that, It's a FACT it's not physically addictive.Never say never kiddio, do it at least once to understand why people do it. One drink won't kill you. methree15Um, I have my reasons to not drink or smoke. One, I'm allergic to smoke, so that isn't going to go well with me. Asthma isn't great to have when smoking either. ;)
Two, I didn't have a great experience around a drunk. Sure the whole "oh try one drink. It'll be fine." But you know, I don't give a damn. :| It's my preference. If I don't want to smoke or drink, I won't. I will say never to smoking and drinking because that is my decision.
