i know but....kid is gonna have to go through hell throught most of his life in school....which is a huge part... constantly getting made fun of, and harrassed, and have your parents always being joked about isnt right....and its not fair to the kid, he didnt choose that..... i just dont think its right at the moment....maybe when being gay becomes more "acceptable"

So inter-racial adoption is bad? I don't see how that has anything to do with this. But still it should be allowed. There's no evidence that a child would have any trouble being raised by two people of the same sex. Does anyone have a problem with a child being raised by a single parent? Because that would be pretty much the same situation that a child being raised by a gay couple would be in.
Why not? Straight couples can be messed up too. Last year in Michigan some poor kid was murdered by his adoptive mom and dad. So had he been adopted by anyone else, including a gay couple, he would still be alive. The point is, gay or straight, there are good and bad parents. I have a family memeber who is gay and he has two sons who are both married with children.

hehe, I see you have been fed the normal line. Just cause we evolved from a common ancester does not mean we "are like them". Nor does it mean that the conditions would be right for such behavior and with such a constrained population that you would be able to view it by your limited viewing of a select group. There are many children without a family and however they find a family I am fine with that. If two gay or lesbian parents want to adopt a child, that is great. Honestly, why argue with everyone's opinion that is not your own. I have the right to believe that is wrong and I don't believe that it should be allowed just like you have the right to believe that it is ok. So I stand by my opinion and I do believe that a women that can't have a baby due to reproduction problems can adopt, but in my opinion I think that being gay is still a choice, and you have to accept parts of what you choice gives you. Just like that I could become a drug abuser and lose my family. It is part of the territory.

Thanks for the biology lesson. Now, think about this. If genetics determine sex of an individual, is sex only skin deep? IE, you have girl or boy parts so you are one or the other. Or, is sex more of a state of being? IE, a person's brain chemistry is geared to one sexual persuasion or the other regardless of reproductive organs. The genetics of our bodies determines who we are, so why is it hard to believe that a male could have the brain chemistry of a woman? I'm not calling gay people mutants, but distinct as people who have two different colored eyes.

I'd like to reiterate a point that I made before: Does anyone who is against gay couples adopting have any problems with single parents raising children? Or single women getting artificially inseminated? In both cases you're only going to have one sex raising the child. How is this any different than if a gay couple adopts?
