I love both, but if I had to pick which one is the most indispensable, I'd choose ketchup.

mustard is much more versatile. you can put it on burgers, fries, any sort of sandwhich mix it with oil and have a salad dressing and lots more. ketchup is good for hotdogs but only gentiles eat that garbage

Except for that oil bit (ewww BTW) I use ketchup for all those purposes and more. At the very least many people put it on burgers and fries.

Mustard (preferably stone ground or whole mustard). I only use ketchup on french fries, which I don't eat very often.
